Dean and Tabber successfully held their concert in Jakarta on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The event, which took place at Kota Kasablanka Hall, served as a reunion for Dean and his Indonesian fans.
For Tabber, this was his first time performing and greeting his fans in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The concert began with Tabber’s performance for about an hour, followed by Dean’s performance with a similar duration.
A collaborative performance between Tabber and Dean also took place on stage, where they performed their duet, including the song “Chi-Ka.”
Throughout the concert, the audience could be seen singing along. They hardly ever stopped and kept chanting every lyric of the songs sung by Tabber and Dean.
After the concert, we interviewed some of the concertgoers, who were all fans of Tabber and Dean. The concert was promoted by NB Entertainment.
Fans of Dean and Tabber, namely Khansa, Nanda, and Dela, shared their thoughts, saying the “DEAN with Tabber Live in Jakarta” concert was amazing and nostalgic.
“Amazing,” said Khansa when interviewed by Today Stage after the concert on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
“Nostalgic,” added Nanda.
“Dean’s songs have been around since 2016,” said Dela.
Khansa also expressed how impressed she was when Dean performed his song “NASA,” which was just released on November 29, 2024. This was because the song was being performed live for the first time in Jakarta.
“‘NASA’ was sung live for the first time in Indonesia, so it felt really special,” she said.
On the other hand, Nanda admitted that she still couldn’t believe she got to see her idol perform live on stage. Especially since Dean had taken a long break and hadn’t released new music.
“Because it’s our first time seeing Dean live, after such a long hiatus, we were worried he wouldn’t perform again, but it turned out (we could watch his concert live),” she said.
Overall, Khansa, Nanda, and Dela gave a perfect score to the DEAN with Tabber Live in Jakarta concert.
“It was totally worth it,” said Khansa.
Meanwhile, influencer Michelle Alex, who is known for sharing cooking content on social media, was also spotted attending the concert in section CAT 1. Often compared to Rosé of BLACKPINK, Alex revealed that she has been a fan of Dean since 2016.
Alex mentioned that this was her second time watching Dean perform in Jakarta, since his last appearance at a music festival in 2017.
She even ran out of words to describe how impressed she was with Dean’s performance in this concert.
“Crazy! It was insane! The last time I saw Dean was at WTF (We The Fest) 2017. It’s been 7 years, and his performance was truly amazing,” said Alex in an interview on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
