RANS Entertainment is back with a fresh and global format, as they are set to host the “Lagi-Lagi Tenis Internasional” event, which will bring top Indonesian stars face-to-face with South Korean celebrities. After the huge success of the event in 2023, the sportainment show “Lagi-lagi Tenis” returns with a new concept. This event has become one of the most highly anticipated sportainment shows, having previously garnered 5.9 million viewers on the RANS Entertainment YouTube channel. Now, with all the innovation and creativity that RANS is known for, the “Lagi-lagi Tenis Internasional” event was officially announced on January 20, 2025, with a new and fresh concept. This was shared by the Chairman of RANS Entertainment, Raffi Ahmad, who will also be the host of the event.
“We’re going international this time. Previously, I was facing Desta, I was facing Dikta. But this time, we’re united to represent our country and the spirit of facing celebrities from Korea who also want to be athletes. So we’re creating the theme of Indonesia vs. Korea in sportainment,” said Raffi Ahmad in a press conference held at Le Nusa Jakarta on Monday (January 20, 2025). Raffi Ahmad also expressed his hope that this event would strengthen the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Korea.
“It’s not just about K-pop or the food, but also about sports,” explained Raffi Ahmad, who also serves as the President’s Special Envoy for Youth Development and Arts Workers. The “Lagi-lagi Tenis Internasional” match will take place at the Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta on Sunday, February 9, 2025, and will involve celebrities from across countries, marking a new milestone in the world of sports entertainment in Indonesia.
The Indonesian team for this match will be represented by Raffi Ahmad, Nagita Slavina, Nia Ramadhani, Desta Mahendra, and Dikta Wicaksono.
What’s different about this “Lagi-lagi Tenis Internasional” event is that Raffi Ahmad will not be paired with his wife, Nagita Slavina, for the mixed doubles. Instead, he will team up with Nia Ramadhani, while Desta Mahendra will partner with Nagita Slavina. Dikta Wicaksono will play singles.
The Indonesian celebrities will face South Korean stars like Park Eun-seok, Hong Soo Ah, Choi Woong, Jung Ha Young, and Tae Yun. The match format is as follows:
- Mixed doubles: Raffi Ahmad & Nia Ramadhani vs. Park Eun Seok & Hong Soo Ah
- Mixed doubles: Desta Mahendra & Nagita Slavina vs. Choi Woong & Jung Ha Young
- Men’s singles: Dikta Wicaksono vs. Tae Yun
