D.O. EXO’s latest film Secret: Untold Melody will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting February 5, 2025. The Korean film stars Doh Kyung-soo alongside Won Jin-ah and Shin Ye-eun in the lead roles.
This news was confirmed by CBI Pictures, the production studio bringing Secret: Untold Melody to Indonesian theaters.
“SECRET: UNTOLD MELODY will premiere in Indonesian cinemas starting February 5, 2025,” wrote CBI Pictures on social media on Friday (January 3).
While there hasn’t been official information about which cinema chains will be screening the film, CGV hinted they might show it after responding to the announcement on Twitter.
Secret: Untold Melody features Doh Kyung-soo as Yoo-joon, a talented young pianist and student whose career was halted due to an injury. He also had to transfer to a new school after the incident. On his first day at the new school, Yoo-joon hears the sound of a piano playing in a room.
Yoo-joon follows the sound, which leads him to a practice room where he meets a mysterious high school student playing the piano. This student becomes an inspiration for Yoo-joon to pursue music again, and their meeting marks the beginning of uncovering a secret that changes time.
The story also involves two teenage female characters, Jeong-ah (Won Jin-ah) and In-hee (Shin Ye-eun), though there is no official information yet about their roles in Yoo-joon’s story.
Secret: Untold Melody marks Doh Kyung-soo’s return to acting after nearly two years. His last leading role was in The Moon, where he portrayed Hwang Seon-woo, an astronaut.
