The Script Delivers a Total and Exciting Performance in Surabaya


Surabaya – Monday, February 17, 2025 – The Irish rock band, The Script, once again electrified the stage during their “Satellites World Tour 2025” concert at Jatim Expo, Surabaya [Sunday, February 16], promoted by Otello Asia. Their lively performance on Sunday night not only rocked thousands of fans inside the venue but also continued outside, as The Script members decided to entertain fans by singing on top of a car after the show. From the start of the concert, The Script delivered an energetic performance. The band members, including lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, formed a warm connection with the enthusiastic audience in Surabaya. The festive atmosphere reached its peak when their hit songs began to play, after opening acts by Hoobastank. The Script performed a total of 18 songs, carefully selected to treat their fans in Indonesia.

After completing the final song, “Hall of Fame,” instead of leaving the venue, The Script surprised fans who had just exited Jatim Expo. The band members appeared in the parking lot, climbed on top of a car, and spontaneously performed their hit songs. This act immediately grabbed the attention of fans, who rushed to capture the rare moment.

“It’s so much fun to be back in Surabaya. We want to make sure everyone who came leaves with amazing memories,” said Danny O’Donoghue just before his outdoor performance. “The energy from the audience tonight was incredible, and we wanted to give them a little extra surprise before they really head home.”

This concert in Surabaya marked an important stop on The Script’s “Satellites World Tour 2025” in Indonesia. Earlier, they had rocked Jakarta with equal enthusiasm. Their all-out performance—from spectacular stage lights, booming sound, to personal interactions with the audience—received highly positive feedback from music fans in the country.
