Korean actor Yoo Yeon Seok will hold his first fan meeting in Indonesia on April 5, 2025, at JIExpo Theatre, Jakarta, as the closing event of his Asia tour.
After years of anticipation, South Korean actor Yoo Yeon Seok will finally hold his first fan meeting in Indonesia. The event, titled ‘2025 YOO YEON SEOK FANMEETING [The Secret Code: Y] ASIA TOUR,’ will take place at JIExpo Theatre in Central Jakarta on April 5, 2025, at 7:30 PM WIB.
This news was previously announced by the promoter FriedRice Entertainment via their official Instagram account, @friedrice.live, on Monday, February 24, 2025. This fan meeting is a special moment for fans in Indonesia, as Jakarta was not originally part of the tour schedule. The city was later added as the final destination before Yoo Yeon Seok returns to South Korea.
Jakarta Becomes the Final City of Yoo Yeon Seok’s Asia Tour
Yoo Yeon Seok’s fan meeting tour began in Bangkok on March 1, 2025, followed by Hong Kong on March 8-9. After that, the actor, known for Hospital Playlist, visited Tokyo on March 15, Taipei on March 22-23, and Singapore on March 27. Jakarta will be the closing city for this tour.
Interestingly, the fan meeting coincides with the Eid al-Fitr holiday season, making it even more special for the fan event. This moment is celebrated with high enthusiasm on social media, with many fans calling the event ‘Lebaran with Yoo Yeon Seok.’
Yoo Yeon Seok has built a reputation as a versatile actor through various iconic roles, starting with Reply 1994 (2013) that shot him to fame, followed by Dr. Romantic (2016) and Hospital Playlist (2020), showcasing his skills in the medical genre. He also ventured into the crime genre in Narco-Saints (2022), and most recently starred in When the Phone Rings(2024).
In his latest drama, Yoo Yeon Seok’s popularity has soared, earning him the nickname ‘Mas Jubir’ from Indonesian fans. This nickname refers to his role as a spokesperson for The Blue House, the Presidential Office of South Korea.
