Through their official social media account, Jellyfish Entertainment announced the ‘SET N GO’ concert tour schedule on Tuesday (18/02). A total of 11 cities in various countries will be destinations for the tour, including Jakarta.
EVNNE is a seven-member boy group under Jellyfish Entertainment, which debuted in 2023. Their debut title track, “TROUBLE,” earned them two wins on weekly music shows during their first comeback, “UGLY.”
On February 10, 2025, EVNNE released their 4th mini album titled “HOT MESS,” which contains six tracks, including the Korean version of “KESHIKI.” The album “HOT MESS” recorded the second-highest sales in Hanteo during its first week, following the album “TARGET: ME.”
The ‘SET N GO’ concert tour will kick off at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, South Korea. The Seoul concerts will be held over two consecutive days, on April 5-6, 2025. Meanwhile, Jakarta is scheduled as the final destination of the tour on July 26, 2025.
Curious about the biography of the boy group EVNNE, who will be breathing in the air of Jakarta this July? Let’s get to know the seven stars from Jellyfish Entertainment!
Before their debut, EVNNE members participated in a survival show organized by Mnet, called BOYS PLANET. Through this program, they competed against each other for a spot in the top 9. However, fate had other plans as none of the seven EVNNE members, who were from different agencies, made it to the debut lineup of ZEROBASEONE.
Four months after the BOYS PLANET program ended, in August 2023, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Yoo Seung-eon, Ji Yun-seo, Mun Jung-hyun, and Park Ji-hoo would debut together in a group called BLIT. This news made fans very happy. However, Jellyfish Entertainment changed the group’s name from BLIT to EVNNE shortly afterward.
Keita is the only EVNNE member from outside South Korea, hailing from Japan. His real name is Terazono Keita, and he had already debuted with the boy group Ciipher before joining EVNNE. Ciipher was launched by RAIN Company and has been active since 2021.
BOYS PLANET was not Keita’s first survival show. He previously participated in YG TREASURE BOX as a trainee from YG Entertainment Japan but was eliminated on episode 9.
Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, and Mun Jung-hyun were trainees from WakeOne Entertainment. The three of them performed alongside one of ZEROBASEONE’s members, Kim Tae-rae, and trainee Park Min-seok in the “Star Level Test” segment, performing ATEEZ’s song “The Real.”
After the final episode of BOYS PLANET, WakeOne Entertainment allowed its trainees to continue interacting with fans through social media. During this time, Park Ji-hoo, originally from H1ghr Music, joined WakeOne Entertainment along with Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, and Mun Jung-hyun. They held a fan meeting event, “WAKE UP: SUMMER VACATION,” in July 2023.
Similarly, Yoo Seung-eon and Ji Yun-seo, trainees from YueHua Korea Entertainment, were given the chance to connect with fans via a special trainee social media account. Along with Brian, a former YueHua trainee and BOYS PLANET participant who now debuts with AMPERS&ONE, they shared videos of K-Pop dance challenges and other content.
Yoo Seung-eon, known for his beautiful vocal abilities during BOYS PLANET, uploaded covers of the OST from the drama TWENTY-FIVE TWENTY-ONE titled “Starlight” and the song “Stay With Me” by Jung Key feat. Yook Sung-jae of BTOB. Meanwhile, Ji Yun-seo created vlogs with Yoo Seung-eon and Brian and did a dance cover of “Lie” by Jimin of BTS.
On September 19, 2023, EVNNE made their debut with the song “TROUBLE.” With “TROUBLE,” EVNNE expressed their ambition and energy in showcasing their abilities as a newly debuted group. They also wanted to show their burning spirit to continue moving forward and achieve their goals together.
Jellyfish Entertainment revealed that the name EVNNE comes from the combination of the words “Evening’s Newest Etoiles.” This name was chosen with the hope that the members’ determination to shine brightly from the highest places, as the group’s name suggests, would attract a lot of attention.
The album “TARGET: ME” became EVNNE’s best-selling album in the first week of its release. It also earned a “Platinum” certification from Circle Chart due to its sales and was nominated for “Rookie of the Year – Physical Album” at the 13TH CIRCLE CHART MUSIC AWARDS.
EVNNE released their latest title track, “HOT MESS,” on February 10, 2025. Since its release, the “HOT MESS” music video has surpassed the views of “TROUBLE.” As of now, the “HOT MESS” music video has been watched more than 5 million times on EVNNE’s official YouTube channel.
The song “HOT MESS” briefly topped the Bugs Realtime Chart, a remarkable achievement for EVNNE, especially considering the competition from other well-known groups at the time. “HOT MESS” also secured the 52nd spot on the Bugs Weekly Chart Top 100, becoming EVNNE’s highest-ranking song on that chart.
As of today, over 215,000 copies of the “HOT MESS” album have been sold. On its first day of sales, the album sold 80,408 copies, breaking the first-day sales record previously held by their album “TARGET: ME.”
For the upcoming concert in Jakarta, the event will be promoted by FriedRice Entertainment.
