Indonesia Arena became the stage for a warm reunion between Kim Taeyeon and her fans during the The Tense concert held on Saturday, April 12, 2025. This concert, organized by Dyandra Global Edutainment, showcased Taeyeon’s impeccable vocal quality and created many unforgettable moments for her fans, known as SONE.

A Stunning Performance with Hit Songs
Over the course of approximately two hours, Taeyeon performed several hit songs that marked her solo career, ranging from her debut with “I”, to other songs like “Make Me Love You,” “INVU,” “What Do I Call You,” “Weekend,” “Why,” “Four Seasons,” and her latest tracks “To.X” and “Letter to Myself”. Not only that, she flawlessly sang songs requiring impressive vocal skills like “Melt Away,” “U R,” and “Blur.”
In addition to singing, the SNSD vocalist warmly interacted with her fans, making the concert an experience full of both entertainment and camaraderie. Here are some of the unforgettable moments from the concert.

Opened with “Fabulous”
Unlike many other K-pop artists who often choose upbeat songs to open their concerts, Taeyeon chose “Fabulous” as her opening song. Though relatively calm, the combination of the live band, stage lighting, and Taeyeon’s powerful vocals made the performance feel grand. Dressed in a white gown and Greek goddess-inspired headpiece, her opening performance was truly “breathtaking.”

From Heaven to Hell (From White to Black)
At the end of the first part of the concert, Taeyeon performed “Heaven”, a perfect match for her elegant image at the beginning of the set. But after that, the mood shifted as a VCR played showing Taeyeon with angel wings, which soon transitioned into a darker theme. This marked the bridge into the second part of the concert, filled with darker and more intense songs.
With pyrotechnic effects, Taeyeon returned wearing a black latex outfit and performed songs such as “Hot Mess,” “INVU,” “My Tragedy,” and “Cold As Hell.”

Daisy Flower Surprise That Touched Taeyeon
Like many K-pop concerts, Taeyeon also received a sweet surprise from her fans. One of the most heartwarming moments occurred when fans raised images of daisy flowers on their phones while Taeyeon performed “What Do I Call You.” In addition, the shining flashlights during “Curtain Call” and the fans’ rendition of “Dream” (OST from the Korean drama Welcome to Samdalri) that went viral in Indonesia, added to the warmth of the atmosphere.
“Thank you, I can clearly hear your singing,” Taeyeon expressed with deep gratitude.
Amazing Collaboration with the Live Band
One of the main highlights of The Tense concert was the excellent collaboration between Taeyeon and the live band that accompanied her. Not only did they bring more life to the concert, but they also presented fresh arrangements of Taeyeon’s songs, offering a dynamic and lively experience. The dancers’ energy and incredible stage treatments helped make this concert one of the best of 2025.
Taeyeon’s Name in the Credit Title
For SONE, one of the most prideful moments was watching Taeyeon’s career grow from her teenage years to becoming a top solo artist in South Korea. In The Tense, the 36-year-old artist proved how much she has evolved. In the concert’s credit title, Taeyeon’s name appeared in every aspect of the production, from song selection to photo direction, concert title, confetti design, and even the creation of the fragrance spread throughout the venue.
“The Tense inspired by past – present – future Taeyeon in all tenses,” reads a quote in the credit title. It also says, “Special Thanks, beloved SONE.”
Group Photo with Fans, Making Us “Fail to Focus”
A sweet and brief moment occurred at the end of the concert when Taeyeon took a photo with the dancers and band members. She repeatedly signaled to take the photo, saying, “Hana, dul, set Jakarta!“
When it was time to take a photo with the audience, without needing any cue, the fans collectively shouted, “Hana, dul, set Jakarta!,” making the moment even more heartwarming and touching.

In addition, the confetti that fell throughout the concert left the fans in awe each time it happened.
Well, these are some of the unforgettable moments we’ve summarized from Taeyeon’s The Tense concert in Jakarta.
