Indonesian boyband SMASH successfully reunited with their loyal fans, Smashblast, in a special anniversary event titled EVERLA15TING – 15th Anniversary SMASH. During this emotional celebration, the five members—Rafael, Bisma, Dicky, Ilham, and Reza—couldn’t hold back their tears. Even during the very first song, the emotions took over and tears started to fall.
No wonder—it was a celebration entirely initiated by the Smashblast themselves.
“It felt amazing, especially because the tickets sold out so fast,” said Bisma.
When asked about their activities during their hiatus as a group, Rafael explained that they had actually performed several times off-air at various music festivals, although not much was shared on social media.
“Maybe a lot of people didn’t know, because over the past few years most of our gigs were off-air. Now, we’re trying to become more active on social media again, since that’s where everything happens these days. At 15 years in, we want to connect more digitally,” Rafael shared.
Beyond musical performances, the event also offered fans a dose of nostalgia and fun interactive games with the members. One hilarious moment came when the group suggested doing a livestream themed around “Warung Cenat Cenut,” referencing their old TV series Cinta Cenat Cenut.
“We were always sleep-deprived back then. Sometimes we’d just sleep in the car,” Bisma reminisced about those busy drama-shooting days that fans still remember fondly.
The members also opened up about their individual activities during the hiatus. Rafael is currently working as a host, while Bisma, Ilham, and Reza have been busy with acting, music, and DJing.
The event closed on a sweet note, with the group blowing out candles and cutting a birthday cake on stage. Emotions ran high once again as the members embraced each other with heartfelt gratitude and joy.
The night officially ended around 10:00 PM local time, with a group photo session alongside their beloved fans.
