Synopsis
At the heart of the film is Lee Kang-soo (Kang Ha-neul), a man wrongly accused and imprisoned. In a desperate bid to shorten his sentence, he accepts an offer from an ambitious prosecutor, Koo Kwan-hee (Yoo Hae-jin), to work as a covert informant—a “yadang”—inside Korea’s dangerous drug syndicates.
As Kang-soo infiltrates the criminal underworld, he begins to destabilize the networks from within. Meanwhile, Kwan-hee exploits the information to propel his career, hungry for recognition and political advancement.
But not everyone is on the same side.
Oh Sang-jae (Park Hae-joon), a seasoned narcotics detective, becomes increasingly frustrated by Kang-soo’s interference and grows suspicious of the true relationship between the informant and the prosecutor. As their paths collide, the line between justice and ambition begins to blur, and a three-way power struggle unfolds—each man caught between truth, loyalty, and survival.
