Jakarta, May 3, 2025 – BTS member J-Hope successfully held the first day of his solo concert titled “HOPE ON THE STAGE” at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta.and promoted by iMe Indonesia. The show became one of the most memorable events of the year, with tens of thousands of ARMY filling the venue since the afternoon.
The nearly three-hour concert featured 27 songs, a stunning stage setup, and heartwarming interactions between J-Hope and his Indonesian fans.
Opening with “What If” and a Warm Welcome
The concert kicked off with “What If”, sending the crowd into an uproar. J-Hope greeted the audience energetically:“What’s up Jakarta! You guys so full of energy!”
“Apa kabar Jakarta? Where’s your voice?! Floor, are you ready to have fun? Level one? Level two? Everybody make some noise!”
His use of Indonesian delighted fans, adding a personal and fun touch to the show.
Interactive Stage and Stunning Visuals
The concert stage, designed in a square shape with movable center sections, delivered a unique visual experience. The stage concept was inspired by J-Hope’s latest album Jack in the Box, supporting performances of songs like “Pandora’s Box”, “Arson”, “Stop Me”, and “I Wonder”.
In addition to the creative stage mechanics, the show featured lasers, fireworks, and bursts of flame, enhancing the concert’s energy. The colorful glow of ARMY Bombs (BTS’ official lightstick) added to the magical atmosphere.

BTS Nostalgia Segment
J-Hope also performed some BTS songs, including “Trivia: Just Dance”, “Mic Drop”, and “Bepsae”. When performing “Airplane”, he transitioned seamlessly into “Airplane Pt. 2”, driving the crowd wild.
During “Mic Drop”, he mimicked Suga’s iconic mic-drop moment at the end of the song, delighting fans with the nostalgic throwback.
“ARMY Mantap”: Heartfelt Moments of Love
J-Hope shared his joy at being back in Indonesia for the first time since 2017:“Since it’s been a long time, I really wanted to show my best. I missed you so much.”
He also revealed a fun fact that Indonesia ranks among the top countries with the most followers on his Instagram:“Fun fact — Indonesia is at the top of the list of my Instagram followers. I can really feel all your love!”
And one moment that truly stole the hearts of Indonesian ARMY:
“ARMY mantap!” (Amazing ARMY!)
Loving Indonesian Cuisine
J-Hope shared that he had been enjoying local Indonesian food during his stay, with satay being his favorite:“Satay… mantap!” he said, causing fans to cheer and laugh.
A Sweet Farewell and a Promise to Return
During the encore, J-Hope performed “Outro: Ego” and walked off stage to get closer to fans. He invited ARMY to stand and clap along. With his hands raised in a heart shape over his head, he wrapped up the show with:“Thank you! I love you all!”
Day Two Still to Come
The excitement doesn’t end yet — J-Hope’s concert in Jakarta continues on Sunday, May 4, 2025.“ARMY, I’m so happy to be here. Did you enjoy it too?” he asked, greeted by loud cheers.
Indonesia is just one of many stops in J-Hope’s world tour, which kicked off at KSPO Dome in Seoul and continues across major cities in the U.S., Mexico, and Asia — including Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
