The third and final season of Squid Game is approaching, and a teaser video released today offers the first glimpse of the dramatic climax of Netflix’s most popular series.

Continuing from the tense ending of Season 2, the third season brings Gi-hun (Player 456) back to the heart of the brutal game, determined to destroy it once and for all. Still haunted by betrayal and the loss of his closest ally, Jung-bae (Player 390), Gi-hun faces new dangers—including the Front Man, who shockingly infiltrates their rebellion disguised as Player 001.

The teaser video opens with a scene of a Pink Guard carrying a black box—the coffin used by the guards for fallen players—into the game’s rest area. With curiosity and fear, the players approach and open the box, only to find Gi-hun inside. As he awakens, viewers are taken to the beginning of a new game.

A giant gumball machine dispenses red and blue balls, symbolizing the fate that will determine the next challenge. Familiar faces return: The Front Man, Detective Hwang Jun-ho, and players Myung-gi (Player 333), Dae-ho (Player 388), Hyun-ju (Player 120), Yong-sik (Player 007), Geum-ja (Player 149), Jun-hee (Player 222), Min-su (Player 125), Nam-gyu (Player 124), and Pink Guard No-eul. As tension rises, the final moments echo with the mysterious cries of a baby.

In the teaser photo, Gi-hun is seen standing amidst a sea of black boxes tied with pink ribbons. He looks upward, in a moment of reflection and resolve. What awaits him and the other players in the game?
