Jakarta, May 14, 2025 — After the heartwarming success of the animated film JUMBO, Visinema Studios, in collaboration with Indonesia Kaya, is once again bringing the beloved Keluarga Cemara to the stage in a musical format. In partnership with Ciputra Artpreneur, the production will run from June 20 to July 13, 2025.
Adapted from one of Indonesia’s most popular and successful intellectual properties, Keluarga Cemara returns as a musical stage production. Spanning nearly an entire month with 30 total performances, this will be the only musical theater show of its scale during this period.
Following last year’s success, which attracted more than 30,000 attendees, Keluarga Cemara: The Musical 2025 promises an even grander production. Audiences can expect more vibrant choreography, redesigned stage artistry, and refreshed musical arrangements to deliver a warm and unforgettable experience.
Directed by Pasha Prakasa and produced by Cristian Imanuell, Billy Gamaliel, and Chriskevin Adefrid, this year’s production introduces new actors for the roles of Abah and Emak, bringing fresh energy to the stage. Each act is crafted to be more emotionally resonant, inviting the audience to once again reflect on the meaningful and heartfelt values of family.“Visinema Studios is committed to producing content that is meaningful and high-quality for children and families. This year, the show aims to reach even more Indonesian families, with affordable presale ticket prices. As a studio known for consistently delivering quality entertainment for children and families, Visinema sees this musical as one of its flagship productions.

Director Pasha Prakasa emphasized that this year’s show introduces new elements, including a moving set, to create a fresh and immersive experience distinct from the previous version. Additionally, music videos for all the songs from the musical will be released. Last year, Keluarga Cemara: The Musical won the AMI Award for Best Musical Album.
The show features Taufan Purbo, Simhala Avadana, Andrea Miranda, and Galabby reprising their roles as Abah and Emak, while Amira Karin, Aisyah Fadhila, Fazka Bahanan, and Quinn Salman return as Euis and Ara.
