At Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, held on June 1, 2025, the Addams Family cast—Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Joanna Lumley, Fred Armisen, and Isaac Ordonez—took the stage to deliver long-awaited news for fans around the world: Lady Gaga is officially joining the phenomenal series Wednesday Season 2 Part 2, which premieres on September 3. Gaga will play the enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy whose path will dramatically intersect with Wednesday Addams.

The announcement was made during Tudum 2025: The Live Event—Netflix’s biggest celebration of fandom and the stories that have become pop culture touchstones. The event featured exclusive previews and teasers from upcoming films and series.

In addition to the major Wednesday news, the Tudum LIVE event unveiled a lineup of exciting updates from other upcoming Netflix titles:

• The cast of Squid Game—Lee Jung-jae (Gi-Hun), Lee Byung-hun (The Front Man), Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim, and Choi Seung-hyun—thrilled fans with the debut of the exclusive trailer for Season 3.

• The cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, including Daniel Craig, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Cailee Spaeny, and Daryl McCormack, along with writer/director/producer Rian Johnson, shared a sneak peek of the film, which premieres December 12, 2025.

• From ONE PIECE, Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar revealed an exclusive first look at the upcoming season, including the introduction of fan-favorite character Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover. The second season will premiere in 2026.

• Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, and Catalina Sandino Moreno dropped a thrilling teaser for their new film The Rip, set for release on January 16, 2026.

• A teaser for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Frankenstein film was unveiled, featuring Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth in leading roles.

• The cast of Happy Gilmore 2, releasing on July 25, 2025, held a Q&A session filled with surprise guest appearances, culminating in the premiere of the official trailer.

• From Stranger Things, cast members Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin—joined virtually by Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo—announced that the fifth and final season will be released in three premiere waves:
– Four episodes on November 26,
– Three episodes on December 25,
– The series finale on December 31.
