At last, the long wait of Indonesian EXO-Ls was finally rewarded. EXO’s Kai successfully held his solo concert titled KAION in Jakarta on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Tennis Indoor Senayan.
The concert was part of his first world tour as a solo artist since debuting in 2020.
Fans’ enthusiasm was evident from the afternoon, even before the concert began.
Kai first greeted fans during an exclusive soundcheck session, which was only open to CAT 1 ticket holders.
Dressed casually with glasses, Kai performed two songs — “Hello Stranger” and “Rover” — while greeting EXO-Ls who had eagerly awaited his appearance.
Promoted by CK Star Entertainment, the concert officially kicked off at 7:00 PM WIB with a grand opening.
The show began with “Sinner,” shaking the venue from the very first note, followed by “Mmmh” and “Nothing On Me.”
These opening tracks were delivered with high energy, paired with Kai’s signature explosive choreography and stunning stage visuals.
Kai captivated the crowd in a striking red outfit with a deep V-cut neckline — instantly drawing attention and camera flashes.
But it wasn’t just his performance that mesmerized the audience — his warm interactions were also a highlight of the night.
With a wide smile, Kai greeted fans in Indonesian.
“How are you, Indonesia? I’m Kai,” he said, met with deafening cheers from EXO-Ls.
He went on to say, “Aku cinta kalian” (“I love you”), adding an emotional and intimate touch to the moment.
The “Peaches” singer expressed his amazement at the passion of his Indonesian fans.
“Your energy is incredible,” he said.
He added that he had already felt the energy during the soundcheck.
“Honestly, I already knew how passionate you are. I could feel it earlier during soundcheck. So I knew this concert would be even more powerful,” Kai shared.
The concert continued with a lineup of Kai’s solo songs like “Slidin’,” “Ride or Die,” and of course, “Peaches.”
After changing into an elegant green suit, Kai performed popular EXO songs such as “My Lady,” “Baby Don’t Cry,” and “Angel.”
One unforgettable moment from the night was when Kai appeared wearing a brown batik shirt, a traditional Indonesian garment.
His appearance in local attire immediately caught the attention of fans and was met with praise and excitement.
In addition to singing and dancing, Kai also included a fun dance challenge session for fans.
A few lucky EXO-Ls were chosen to dance along to Kai’s choreographies from songs like “Wait On Me,” “Mmmh,” and “Rover,” which were displayed on giant LED screens.
The concert ended on an emotional note with encore performances of “Blue” and “To Be Honest.”
Kai also shared exciting news — EXO is currently planning a world tour with the full group.
“I’ll be back in Jakarta soon. I’ll bring the members with me,” Kai promised, prompting a wave of joyful screams from the crowd.
“We’re going to hold an EXO concert here,” he added.
That night, Kai shined not only as a singer and performer but also as an idol who truly knows how to touch his fans’ hearts — through Indonesian language, traditional batik, and sincere love for Indonesian EXO-Ls.
