Jakarta, June 26, 2025 – Viu, the leading pan-regional OTT platform from PCCW, together with SBS, the award-winning Korean TV network, officially announced the upcoming release of Taxi Driver Season 3, which will premiere globally (excluding South Korea and Mainland China) as a Viu Original in Q4 2025. Following record-breaking viewership from previous seasons, the new season will expand its production to international locations and introduce a cross-border lineup of Asian talents.
Iconic actor Lee Je-hoon reprises his role as Kim Do-gi, the streetwise hero with a tortured past who has captured global audiences. He is joined once again by familiar faces including Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram. The series is helmed by returning writer Oh Sang-ho and director Kang Bo-seung. Notably, Edan Lui, member of Hong Kong’s top boy group MIRROR, will make his K-drama debut, portraying a mysterious character who forges an unexpected alliance with Kim Do-gi.

In addition to My Youth, starring global superstar Song Joong-ki, and The Season, a high-society drama set in Hong Kong, Viu will also deliver a variety of local content. This includes 12 new Malay-language titles in collaboration with major studios such as Rumah Karya Citra and Global Station, as well as premium Indonesian productions co-produced with Telkomsel’s MAXStream Originals.
