Jakarta once again witnessed the charm of the beautiful Chinese actress, Esther Yu. During the iQIYI Starship | VISION+ Combo Asia Meet and Greet event, Esther Yu greeted her fans in Indonesia once more. This marked her second visit to the country.
The iQIYI Starship | VISION+ Combo Asia Meet and Greet with Esther Yu was successfully held on November 26, 2025, at the Jakarta Concert Hall, iNews Tower.
During this special occasion, Esther greeted her fans, “Hello Xinxin fans in Indonesia. I love you all.” The greeting was immediately met with loud cheers from the fans filling the venue.
Hasn’t Had the Chance to Try Indonesian Food
Esther admitted that she hadn’t had the chance to try Indonesian food yet. “I arrived very late last night, and to perform my best today, I haven’t had time to eat anything. I hope tonight I’ll have the chance to try Indonesian food.”
The moment became even warmer when one fan shouted “Seblak,” and Esther repeated it, “Seblak?”—which made the crowd burst into laughter.

In the Combo Asia Launch with Esther Yu session, she shared her happiness about becoming the iQIYI International Global Ambassador. She hopes to continue bringing high-quality works from China to international audiences. “Of course, I hope in the future I’ll have good film projects from China to bring to my overseas friends.”
Stories Behind the Film Speed and Love
Esther also shared her experiences behind one of her highly anticipated works, Speed and Love. She said she had many unique and extraordinary experiences. “During the shooting of Speed and Love, I had unique and amazing experiences because we filmed in several places and from different angles. The film also carries an incredible theme, so I hope everyone will like my role.”
First Impressions of Jakarta and Fans’ Enthusiasm
Aside from her on-stage experiences, Esther also shared her personal impressions upon arriving in Jakarta. She was touched to see how enthusiastic, friendly, and orderly her Indonesian fans were when she arrived at the airport.
She even received many gifts at the airport. “Last night I opened one of the gifts with my friend. It was a book. I wasn’t sure whether it was for a birthday or something else, but inside it talked about Indonesian food.”
After the series of sessions for Combo Asia Launch with Esther Yu ended, Esther returned backstage to prepare for her appearance in the Meet and Greet with Esther Yu session.
