SuperThai to Light Up Jakarta’s Songkran Celebration at Sanuk Siam Festival 2026

Jakarta is about to get a vibrant splash of color, music, and culture as Thai boy group SuperThai is set to perform at the Sanuk Siam Festival 2026. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at One Belpark Mall, bringing the festive spirit of Thailand’s Songkran right into the heart of Indonesia’s capital.

This year’s festival carries a special significance as it becomes the first event in Jakarta to blend the traditional Songkran celebration with live music performances. The result is an immersive cultural experience that aims to introduce the beauty and meaning behind Thailand’s New Year festivities to Indonesian audiences in a fun and engaging way.

Songkran itself is a traditional Thai New Year celebration widely known for its iconic water-splashing tradition. More than just a joyful water fight, it symbolizes purification, renewal, and the welcoming of good fortune and new beginnings. Through Sanuk Siam Festival, visitors will not only enjoy the excitement but also gain a deeper understanding of the cultural values behind the celebration.

Organized by Sanuk Mak, the festival invites people—especially fans of Thai culture—to experience Songkran in a more authentic and interactive setting. From lively water festivities to cultural showcases, the event promises a full day of entertainment and cultural appreciation.

Adding to the excitement, SuperThai—known from the survival show Chuang Asia—will take the stage as one of the main highlights of the festival. Their presence brings a strong pop culture element to the event, making it even more appealing to younger audiences and K-pop and T-pop fans in Indonesia.

In the lead-up to the festival, the four members of SuperThai have already sent warm greetings to their Indonesian fans through a video shared on Instagram.

“Hello Indonesia, we can’t wait to meet you at Sanuk Siam Festival in Jakarta,” said Tadalee.

“Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at One Belpark Mall,” Peanut added.

Meanwhile, Plengthai and Ninja also expressed their excitement about meeting fans in person.

“We can’t wait to see you all. Let’s have fun together,” said Ninja.

“Let’s sing, dance, and enjoy Songkran with us,” Plengthai concluded.

With its unique blend of culture, music, and celebration, Sanuk Siam Festival 2026 is set to become one of the most exciting cultural events in Jakarta this year—bringing the joyful spirit of Songkran to life like never before.
