Rising star Kiesha Alvaro is stepping into the spotlight as the lead in the upcoming romantic drama Shaka Oh Shaka. In the film, he shares the screen with Arla Ailani—and according to him, their collaboration was nothing short of special.
During a media appearance in South Jakarta on April 30, 2026, Kiesha expressed his admiration for his co-star. Despite Shaka Oh Shaka being Arla’s first time acting in a romantic drama, Kiesha admitted he was genuinely impressed by her natural performance.“My first impression working with Arla—I couldn’t believe this was her first drama,” he shared.
Arla Ailani, the daughter of actors Bucek Depp and Uniqe Priscilla, seems to have inherited both talent and charisma. Kiesha went on to describe her as someone effortlessly lovable, both on and off screen.“She’s that lovely,” he said warmly. “Whether she’s playing Shakala or just being herself, she’s very easy to love.”
Shaka Oh Shaka tells the story of a complicated romance between a rockstar and one of his fans.
