A new light is about to shine across Jakarta. After making history as the first T-Pop group to perform on South Korea’s iconic M Countdown stage, Thailand’s rising idol group BUS (Because of You I Shine) is finally ready to greet Indonesian fans through their highly anticipated fancon tour.
The twelve-member group under SONRAY MUSIC will hold BUS THE FIRST LIGHT – THE 1ST ASIA FANCON TOUR in Jakarta on May 21, 2026, at The Music Hall at Graha Pengharapan, located on the 3rd floor. The event will begin at 6:00 PM WIB, promising an unforgettable evening filled with music, emotions, and special memories between BUS and Indonesian BEUS — the official fandom name for their devoted fans.
From Survival Show Dreams to the Global Stage
The story of BUS began with determination, tears, and ambition. The group was formed through the survival competition program 789 SURVIVAL, where millions of viewers witnessed the intense journey of twelve young talents: Alan, Marckris, Khunpol, Heart, Jinwook, Thai, Nex, Phutatchai, Copper, AA, Jungt, and Peemwasu.
Throughout the competition, contestants faced rigorous vocal training, dance missions, emotional eliminations, and constant evaluations. Originally, the project planned to debut only seven to nine members. However, the final lineup expanded to twelve members after a combination of audience votes, fellow contestants’ choices, and decisions from renowned producer Songyos Sugmakanan.
BUS officially debuted on December 6, 2023, with the digital single “Because of You, I Shine.” The song immediately introduced the group’s heartfelt identity — one built on gratitude, positivity, and the strong bond between artists and fans. Their debut music video, which highlighted Thailand’s beautiful cultural destinations, further strengthened their image as a modern T-Pop group proud of their roots.
In a short time, BUS quickly became one of the most talked-about names in the T-Pop industry.
Breaking Records and Winning Hearts Across Asia
BUS’s popularity has continued to soar since their debut. At the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2024 held in Bangkok, the group proudly took home the Best Artist Award (Music Category), proving their growing influence in the Asian entertainment scene.
Another historic moment arrived in February 2026 when BUS became the first-ever T-Pop group to perform on South Korea’s legendary music show M Countdown. Performing their latest single “So Blue,” the group showcased not only their talent but also the expanding global reach of Thai pop music.
That milestone became the inspiration behind their first Asia fancon tour titled “THE FIRST LIGHT.” Symbolizing the beginning of a new journey, the tour aims to spread BUS’s light across Asia — with Jakarta chosen as one of its brightest stops.
Today, BUS continues to build an impressive global presence with more than 1.1 million YouTube subscribers, 445 thousand monthly Spotify listeners, and over 1.5 million Instagram followers. Their strong fan engagement on social media platforms also reflects the unwavering love BEUS around the world have for the group.
A Special Night for Indonesian BEUS

More than just a concert, BUS THE FIRST LIGHT – THE 1ST ASIA FANCON TOUR in Jakarta is designed to be an intimate and meaningful experience. Fans can expect energetic performances, exciting games, heartfelt interactions, and exclusive moments that can only be witnessed live at the venue.
Inside The Music Hall at Graha Pengharapan, the twelve members of BUS are set to create memories that will remain unforgettable for Indonesian fans. The fancon marks not only their first official event in Jakarta, but also the beginning of a deeper connection between BUS and BEUS Indonesia.
Ticket sales officially opened on March 24 at 10:00 AM WIB, and excitement has continued to grow ever since. With anticipation reaching new heights, Jakarta is more than ready to welcome BUS with warmth and endless support.
From a survival show filled with tears and dreams to standing proudly on some of Asia’s biggest stages, BUS has proven that their light shines brightest because of the fans who believe in them.
