The Rose Took Us to Utopia — Twice at Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026

Some nights are unforgettable. And for Black Roses in Indonesia, July 5 was definitely one of them.

Returning to Indonesia once again, The Rose lit up the main stage of Prambanan Jazz Festival 2026 with the majestic Prambanan Temple standing proudly behind them. From the very first note, the atmosphere already felt magical.

Opening the night with “Utopia,” Woosung, Dojoon, Taegyeom, and Hajoon wasted no time turning the venue into one big sing-along. Thousands of fans sang every lyric together, setting the tone for an emotional and unforgettable evening.

Throughout the show, The Rose performed 13 songs, taking fans on a journey through different chapters of their music.

Setlist:

* Utopia
* Lifeline
* You’re Beautiful
* Red
* Walking on Clouds
* Shift
* Back to Me
* Alive
* Sorry
* Control

* Sour
* Utopia (Encore)

One of the biggest highlights of the night came during “Sour.” As one of the songs from their very first album, it brought back so many memories for longtime fans. The crowd sang every word with so much passion that it almost felt like the band and the audience became one voice.

Just when everyone thought the night was coming to an end, The Rose returned to the stage for an encore. And in the most fitting way possible, they closed the show with “Utopia” once again.

Starting and ending the concert with the same song felt incredibly meaningful. It was like coming full circle, a beautiful reminder that every ending also carries the hope of another beginning.

With thousands of lights shining across the crowd and the breathtaking Prambanan Temple as the backdrop, it was the kind of concert moment that stays with you long after the music fades.

A huge thank you to Rajawali Indonesia for bringing The Rose back to Indonesia and making this unforgettable night happen. Until next time, The Rose and hopefully, see you again in our own little utopia.
