JAKARTA — Ji Chang Wook’s journey through Indonesia in Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing has led to a major achievement.
The program, produced by Viu in collaboration with Samsung Indonesia, has been named Indonesia’s National Winner for Best Branded Programme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2026.
The recognition secures Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing a place at the AACA 2026 Grand Awards Gala, which will take place in Singapore on December 3, 2026, where it will compete against National Winners from across the Asia-Pacific region.
More than simply showcasing Ji Chang Wook’s relaxed side away from the drama screen, the program also puts Indonesia’s natural beauty, culture, and warm hospitality in the spotlight for audiences around the world.
Ji Chang Wook Explores Indonesia
Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing follows Ji Chang Wook as he takes a break from his busy life as an actor and embarks on a journey of discovery across Indonesia.
Throughout its five episodes, the star of Healer, The K2, and Welcome to Samdal-ri visits Yogyakarta, Bali, and Sumba.
Each destination becomes part of his journey toward finding a sense of calm, inspiration, and new experiences.
His Indonesian adventure is accompanied by several local stars who form Team Galaxy, including Pevita Pearce, Maxime Bouttier, Pradikta Wicaksono (Dikta), Vanesha Prescilla, Bryan Domani, and Agung Karmalogy.
Together, they introduce Ji Chang Wook to different sides of Indonesia through its food, traditions, landscapes, and encounters with local communities.
With such a diverse group of Indonesian talents alongside him, the program becomes more than a travel series centered on a Korean celebrity. Abracadabra! creates a cultural meeting point between Korean entertainment and Indonesian talent, while placing the richness of Indonesia’s destinations at the heart of its story.
Indonesia Takes Center Stage
The AACA 2026 National Winner recognition further highlights the program’s ability to bring together entertainment, travel, technology, and cultural promotion in one production.
Although Ji Chang Wook is the central figure throughout the journey, Indonesia itself arguably becomes one of the program’s biggest stars.
From the landscapes of Sumba and Bali to Yogyakarta’s cultural heritage and the warmth of local communities, the country serves as more than just a backdrop—it shapes the entire experience of Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing.
Viu Scores Multiple National Wins at AACA 2026
Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing is not the only Viu production to receive recognition at this year’s AACA.
Several Viu titles from across the region were also named National Winners in their respective countries and categories.

From a Healing Journey to the Asia-Pacific Stage
For Indonesia, Abracadabra! The Galaxy of Ultimate Healing’s National Winner achievement carries a fitting message.
Ji Chang Wook arrived in Indonesia looking for new experiences and a moment of healing away from his hectic life as an actor. Along the way, however, his journey also helped introduce the beauty and cultural richness of Indonesia to a wider international audience.
Now, that journey is taking another step—this time from the Indonesian landscape to the Asia-Pacific awards stage at the AACA 2026 Grand Awards Gala in Singapore.
