The second day of Indonesia Comic Con (ICC) 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran delivered an even bigger surge of energy. While day one set the pace with early exclusive drops and exploratory rounds, Day 2 emerged as the absolute peak of the pop culture celebration, drawing packed crowds across the exhibition floor from the moment the doors opened.
Main Stage: High-Stakes Competitions and Electric Showdowns
The main stage served as the convention’s primary magnetic hub throughout the day:
* Cosplay Championship & Coswalk: In one of the weekend’s most anticipated spectacles, the main stage erupted as contestants delivered theatrical performances in meticulously engineered costumes. Judging emphasized not just visual fidelity, but also in-character stage presence, movement choreography, and practical special effects.
* International Guest Panels: Exclusive interview sessions with international pop culture guests drew thousands to the stage area. Interactive Q&As and behind-the-scenes stories from major film and television productions were met with passionate cheers from the packed crowd.
* DJ Sets & Anisong Party: Transitioning toward the evening, the stage evolved into a high-octane musical blowout. Energetic anime themes, remixed pop culture tracks, and dynamic DJ sets had the entire hall singing and jumping along.
Action Across Comic Alley and the Show Floor
The exhibitor booths and creator corridors maintained relentless momentum:
* Commission Pickups and Final Signings: The Artist Alley and Guest Artist tables saw steady queues as collectors returned for second-wave signing slots and claimed custom commission sketches from top industry illustrators.
* The Rush for Convention Exclusives: Major publishers, toy distributors, and official brand booths began flashing “sold out” signs on limited-run items, from rare vinyl figures to exclusive convention-tier apparel.
* Spontaneous Community Gatherings: Hallways and open floor spaces turned into continuous, lively photo ops for cosplayers and attendees. Spanning multiple fandoms, the floor showcased the welcoming, collaborative atmosphere that defines the local scene.
Day 2 captured the core essence of a premier pop culture convention: a seamless blend of world-class creative artistry, showmanship, and community solidarity, closing out on a soaring high note for everyone on the floor.
