Cho Kyuhyun successfully held his concert for the “KYUHYUN 10th Anniversary Asia Tour COLORS” in Jakarta on February 8, 2025. The event, held at The Kasablanka, Jakarta, was promoted by CK Star Entertainment. Kyuhyun’s concert was warmly welcomed by fans and was filled with excitement.
Kyuhyun opened the concert with performances of the songs “Restart” and “Together.” He then greeted the fans and performed several of his other hit songs.
Kyuhyun later mentioned the cover of the Indonesian song “Jiwa Yang Bersedih,” which he had just uploaded to YouTube, and asked his fans for their opinions. “Recently, I uploaded something on YouTube. Has everyone heard it? What do you think?” Kyuhyun said, adding that he would perform the song live, stating it was the first time he would sing it in front of such a large audience. “Since this is the first time I’m singing it in front of so many people, if I make any mistakes, let’s keep it a secret, okay?”
The audience was already excited by Kyuhyun’s performance of “Jiwa Yang Bersedih,” but the excitement reached another level when Ghea Indrawari appeared on stage and joined Kyuhyun for a duet.
At the end of the performance, Kyuhyun gave Ghea a hug to thank her, which caused the fans to cheer even louder. Ghea playfully responded to the fans’ cheers by joking with a pantun (a traditional Malay poetic form), saying, “Ubur-ubur ikan lele, jangan iri Lee.”
Kyuhyun shared that this was his first collaboration with an Indonesian artist, and he expressed how happy he was, promising that he would never forget this moment. Kyuhyun also mentioned that Ghea was currently his favorite Indonesian singer.
Before leaving the stage, Ghea shared a message with the fans. “Hello, everyone. As I’ve said, I’m truly honored and thankful. If it weren’t for Kyuhyun, this opportunity might not have come. Kyuhyun is such a humble and kind person. To all KYUpiter fans, don’t forget to always support Kyuhyun. Let’s keep supporting all of Kyuhyun’s works. Let’s make sure Kyuhyun continues to shine forever. Saranghae!”
Ghea also taught Kyuhyun a viral pantun joke from Indonesia, saying “Ubur-ubur ikan lele, saranghae Lee.” This made KYUpiter fans laugh and cheer in excitement.
