Adaptation of Best-Selling Novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas Set to Hit the Big Screen, Premiering on November 27, 2024

After the success of 172 Days, Starvision is once again bringing a heartfelt religious drama to the screen, Cinta dalam Ikhlas (Love in Sincerity). Adapted from the best-selling novel by Abay Adhitya, the film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on November 27, 2024, and promises to offer a meaningful viewing experience for audiences.

Directed by Fajar Bustomi and produced by Chand Parwez Servia, Cinta dalam Ikhlas tells an inspiring story about love, sincerity, and the journey of finding true soulmates.

“We believe this story has the power to touch hearts,” said Chand Parwez Servia at a press conference held at Epicentrum XXI, Jakarta, on Tuesday (November 19).

The film stars well-known actors such as Adhisty Zara and Abun Sungkar, who play the lead roles of Athar and Ara. Zara, who previously gained fame for her role in Mariposa, now appears in a different light, wearing a hijab for this film.

“This is a valuable new experience for me. The dialogues are very meaningful and offer life lessons,” Zara shared.

Abun Sungkar, portraying Athar, expressed his initial concerns about playing a character based on a true story. However, the support of the novel’s author, Abay Adhitya, who was present on set, helped him dive deeper into the character.

“At first, I was worried, afraid of making mistakes. But Kang Abay was very helpful with discussions, and that made me better understand the character,” Abun said.

The story of Cinta dalam Ikhlas focuses on the life journey of Athar, who lost his father at a young age. Although the pain from this loss remains, fate brings him together with Aurora Cinta Purnama, or Ara (Adhisty Zara), who manages to touch his heart. Cinta dalam Ikhlas is not just a love story, but also about the process of becoming worthy of love and accepting fate with sincerity.
