Enhypen, one of the popular K-Pop groups under Belift Lab, HYBE’s label, will launch The City project in Jakarta before their first concert in Indonesia on August 17 and 18, 2024 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition. Titled Enhypen “Fate Plus” The City Jakarta, this large-scale project will transform Jakarta into a vehicle for Enhypen’s concert supporters or the “Engene,” Enhypen’s fandom.
Enhypen was formed from the survival show I-Land, and debuted in 2020 with seven members namely Jungwon, Heesung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-Ki. During their career in the music industry, Enhypen has won several awards, including Rookie of the Year from the Asia Artist Awards 2021, and Artist of the Year (Bonsang) from the Hanteo Music Awards earlier this year. Enhypen has just released their second album titled Romance: Untold with lead single XO (Only If You Say Yes).
Enhypen’s “Fate Plus: The City Jakarta will officially kick off on August 9th. As the first city for this project, Jakarta will hold several exclusive events created especially for Engene Indonesia. Organized by Springboard managed by Gushcloud, The City Jakarta will hold several activities for fans, namely Enhypen Pop-Up Store, Enhypen Noraebang Party, and Enhypen Random Play Dance.
Enhypen Pop-Up Store which will be held at Neo Soho Mall, West Jakarta, on August 9-25, 2024 is Enhypen’s first pop-up store in Indonesia. Here official merchandise and limited edition merchandise are available exclusively and can only be obtained at the Jakarta pop-up store.
In addition, the Enhypen Noraebang Party will be held on August 9, 2024 at Neo Soho Mall floor 3A and Enhypen Random Play Dance on August 11, 2024 at Door 6 GBK Senayan. Interestingly, when the random play dance takes place there will be a surprise appearance from Pikachu.
The City Jakarta also presents a variety of special experiences for fans, including collaboration with Hotel Mulia (staying in an Enhypen-themed room can win concert tickets), as well as several special menus in collaboration with Kopi Soe and several other F&B brands.

Before actually arriving, the members’ moment of maximum asbun when trying out Indonesian vocabulary at Spotify’s Listening Party stole the show.
On Wednesday (8/14/2024) night, ENHYPEN held a Listening Party with fans on Spotify. In addition to listening to songs together, they also had time to interact with fans while showing off how far they understand the slang terms used by Indonesians.
During the live, the members tried to speak in Indonesian. However, the communication ended with funny jokes from the members.
The members said simple things like “My hobby is exercising”, “My hobby is live”, “Do you like to eat?”, and “I like fried rice”. Things got funnier when ENHYPEN started using Indonesian slang terms.
They say, “Yuk can yuk”, “Menyala my brother”, to “Sehat-sehat orang aring”. Which are sentences that are often said in the daily conversations of Indonesians.
