The indie band Wave to Earth consists of three members – Daniel, John Cha, and Dong Q – and operates under Wavy Entertainment in South Korea. Their music uniquely combines indie-pop, jazz, and lo-fi elements, and interestingly, they compose primarily in English despite being a Korean group.
The band’s journey began in August 2019 when Daniel and Dong Q released their debut single ‘Wave’ as a duo. Their evolution continued with the addition of John Cha and the release of their first EP ‘Wave 0.01’ in January 2020.
True to their “All Self-made” philosophy, the band maintains complete creative control over their work, handling everything from recording and mixing to mastering, along with visual elements like album artwork, videos, and fashion choices. Their name symbolizes their goal to be a ‘new wave’ of global influence, and their fans are affectionately known as ‘Plankton.’
The tour are base on their second studio album, Play with Earth! 0.03 also their latest release in 2024.
The Indonesian tour itself will be promoted by CK Star Entertainment. The tour itself will be an opportunity for many Plankton and Wave To Earth’s music listener also enjoyer who are looking forward to hear and see them again in concert vibes. The Concert will kickstart in Kuala Lumpur at January 2025 and at the same month, they’ll bring their amazing music to Tokyo. The tour will continue to roll on with concerts in Hongkong, Taipei (Taiwan) Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore and Jakarta (Indonesia) in February, they also will wrap it up in Manila in the end of February.
