BTS’ V Gift Fans By His First Solo Debut, ‘Layover’

Its BTS’ V turn to make his first solo debut!

BTS’ V is set to make his solo debut with an album titled ‘Layover.’ On August 8th, V officially announced the release of his solo debut, which is scheduled to drop on September 8th at 1 PM KST soon. The announcement came via a 16-second clip shared on BTS’s official Twitter channel (@BTS_bighit).

The intriguing clip features a floating package box adorned with the title ‘Layover,’ which serves as the name of his solo album. Within the box, fans caught glimpses of V himself and his beloved dog, Yeontan.

According to an official statement from BIGHIT MUSIC, V’s debut solo album will comprise a total of six tracks. Among them are Rainy Days, Blue, Love Me Again, Slow Dancing, For Us, and an exciting bonus track, the Slow Dancing Piano Version.

Slow Dancing is picked as the title track. This song inspired by romantic soul sounds from the 1970’s. Also, V will serving various R&B vibes in his six tracks, meant to showcase V’s vocal colors.

Even, the chief producer of NEW JEANS’s agency, ADOR, Min Hee Jin participated in all aspects of V’s solo album, from music production, album design to the choreography itself.
