TipTip, East Ventures, Addie MS, and Twilite Orchestra have announced their collaboration for the Video Game Concert Volume 2, which is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2025, at the Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta.
The Video Game Concert is a performance featuring orchestral arrangements of legendary video game soundtracks such as Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros, PUBG, and many others. The concert will include collaborations with several famous musicians, including Kevin Aprilio, Tristan Juliano, Danu Kusuma, Meutia Amanda, and Evelyn Wijaya. What makes this performance even more special is the inclusion of international artists, specifically KANDIS, a K-pop girl group from South Korea.
Addie MS, the Conductor and Composer of Twilite Orchestra, stated that the motivation for creating Volume 2 of the concert came from the success of the first concert, held on May 25, 2024, at Ciputra Artpreneur. The high demand for a second volume from the audience inspired the idea to create Video Game Concert Volume 2.
Wilson Cuaca, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of East Ventures, added that the success of Volume 1 presents both challenges and influences on the second concert. One of the challenges is delivering a live performance with a diverse group of talents, which needs careful planning to meet audience expectations. East Ventures fully supports the creation of creative works, such as high-quality music.
Albert Lucius, CEO of TipTip, emphasized that the Video Game Concert provides a unique musical experience, one that is very different from typical performances. With Volume 2, he hopes the audience will feel a sense of nostalgia and recall memories of playing video games. Moreover, this concert will feature collaborations between local and international artists, creating an exciting and engaging concept.
Kevin Aprilio, the pianist in Video Game Concert Volume 2, expressed his hopes that this concert would entertain even more viewers. He also mentioned that there will be many new song selections that the audience will eagerly anticipate.
KANDIS also expressed their gratitude for being invited to be part of Video Game Concert Volume 2. They see this as a great opportunity to present a different kind of performance and are excited about the chance to show their talents to a new audience.
