Coming soon, WeTV Original “Rekaman Terlarang” Tells the Story of a Politician Who Used His Child

WeTV Indonesia will soon launch a new series. Taking on the romance drama genre, Maxime Bouttier and Clara Bernadeth are the main characters in the series titled “Rekaman Terlarang”.

The Maxima and Unlimited production series will bring a scandalous story between Bayu (Maxime Bouttier) and Rena (Clara Bernadeth) that is interesting to follow. Consisting of six episodes, “Rekaman Terlarang” will begin the filming process in the near future.

“Rekaman Terlarang”  series not only presents a complicated love story, but also presents a very strong element of mystery and politics. Clara explained that the reason she was interested in taking on this role was because the genre offered was very different and challenging.

“There are shades of politics, mystery, thriller, and of course the love spices that make this story more alive,” Clara said.

Maxime also agreed with Clara about the appeal of this series. According to him, the combination of political and mystery elements makes the Forbidden Recordings have its own charm.

“”Rekaman Terlarang” series is quite relatable to current events, but this is fictional, we interpret with these characters, with a little romance too,” he said.

Besides Clara Bernadeth and Maxime Bouttier, the series also stars a number of well-known actors and actresses such as Adzana Ashel, Roy Sungkono, Willy Dozan, Rifnu Wikana, Ryan Winter, and Wanda Hamidah.

“Rekaman Terlarang” tells the story of a chaotic political situation where Rena, the daughter of a conservative governor, is forced to marry for her father’s political interests. However, her heart is still set on Bayu, her former lover who unexpectedly becomes her wedding organizer. The situation becomes even more complicated when footage that should never have existed surfaces, threatening her father’s political career and Rena’s own future.
