The disco legend, Boney M, successfully held a concert in Jakarta on January 10, 2025, as part of their 50th anniversary tour. The event took place at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park, supported by Front Row Asia and Otello Asia.

The concert began at 8:30 PM WIB with the national anthem “Indonesia Raya”, followed by a performance from Hetty Koes Endang as the opening act. Hetty Koes Endang delighted the audience with her iconic songs such as “Rindu”, “Jangan Salahkan Aku”, and “I Got You (I Feel Good)”. She also had the special moment of inviting her daughter, Afifah Yusuf, to join her on stage for a duet.
Main Event
After the energetic opening from Hetty Koes Endang, the main event kicked off at 9:30 PM WIB with Boney M’s spectacular performance. They opened with the song “Let It All Be Music”, followed by the classic “Sunny”. Boney M also performed other timeless hits like “Rasputin”, “Rivers of Babylon”, and “Bahama Mama”.
Special Moments
The concert attracted fans not only from Indonesia but also from neighboring Malaysia. Maizie Williams, a member of Boney M, expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, “It is a privilege to be here, to perform for such wonderful people. Everyone, I want to say thank you for showing up.”
Boney M encouraged the audience to stand, sing, and dance along, making the concert even more interactive. Maizie Williams herself even descended from the stage to engage with fans, inviting them to join in the fun and sing together.
As the show came to a close, Boney M expressed their thanks to the audience, saying, “I want to say this is a privilege to perform. Thank you, we love you, but we must leave you.” They ended with an encore performance of “Gotta Go Home”, inviting a fan to come up on stage and dance with them, leaving the crowd with lasting memories of an unforgettable night.
