Composer Erwin Gutawa, who serves as the music director, promises an extraordinary musical experience at the Super Diva concert, set to take place on January 17, 2025, at the Indonesia Arena in Senayan, Jakarta.
During a press conference, Erwin revealed that this concert has been designed with a concept that sets it apart from typical concerts.
“This is not just a concert where six singers take turns performing their own songs and then it’s over. This concert is designed as a cohesive experience, full of collaboration and synergy,” Erwin said at FX Sudirman, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday.
In this concert, the singers will not only perform solo but will also collaborate in cross-generational duets, trios, and group performances on stage.
The musical arrangements have been significantly adapted to support the story they wish to tell on stage.
“Of course, there will be changes in the arrangements compared to the album versions. The music is crafted to bring the story we’re telling in this concert to life,” he explained.
To ensure fairness among the performers, Erwin and the creative team have carefully curated a balanced setlist.
A total of 43 to 44 songs will be performed during the concert, with each singer set to perform about seven songs. The song selection is expected to satisfy audiences from various generations, from loyal fans of the senior singers to supporters of the young stars.
To enhance the performance, an orchestra led by Erwin Gutawa will play a key role.
“The orchestra has incredible power to support the singers’ performances. We’ll do our best to ensure that the singers deliver a performance that exceeds their usual standards,” he said.
The Super Diva concert promises not just a musical performance but an emotional journey, beautifully packaged through stunning arrangements and unforgettable collaborations. With full orchestral support and meticulously designed performances, this concert is set to be an unforgettable night for all attendees.
