Jakarta, Sunday, June 8, 2025 – Last Saturday night (June 7, 2025), Hall A of the Jakarta Convention Center echoed with cheers and laughter from thousands of anisong fans at the “I Love Anisong Music Festival,” an official presentation by Crunchyroll, organized by SOZO and PK Entertainment. The shimmering lights of Crunchyroll lightsticks pulsed with every beat of the music, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the 4.5-hour high-energy spectacle.
Sally Amaki [22/7] kicked off the show right at 6:30 PM (WIB) with her signature bilingual charm. The Japanese-American singer–YouTuber blended English and Japanese effortlessly in every song, performing a medley of popular anisong covers as well as her original singles available on digital platforms. Her engaging, Vtuber-style presentation captivated the audience from the very first moment.
KAF, a soloist known for her gentle yet distinct vocals, followed next. Her debut anime theme single, “Mienai Taiyō”, placed her on the map of new anisong stars, and her performance in Jakarta affirmed her musical maturity—bringing an intimate feel to the I Love ANISONG Music Festival that night.
Liyuu graced the stage in her signature pastel-colored cosplay, enchanting the crowd with her crystal-clear voice that evoked a dreamy ambiance. She alternated between soft, tender moments and bursts of energetic flair, adding a magical aura to each performance. The audience’s cheers and synchronized lightstick waves underlined Liyuu’s ability to merge the world of cosplay and anisong seamlessly.
towana from fhána! appeared elegant in pastel attire, mesmerizing the crowd with her light, melodic vocals over minimal electronic arrangements. Her warm greetings and flowing vocals encouraged the crowd to sing along, creating a sense of closeness. Waves of lightsticks swaying in harmony highlighted towana’s charm and brought fhána!’s intimate pop-rock style to life.
The stage pulsed again as TeddyLoid (Solo Set), the legendary producer/DJ behind “ME!ME!ME!” and the “Panty & Stocking” anime soundtrack, led the audience through a futuristic electronic set. His creative sound design, combined with LED screen visual mapping, delivered an audiovisual experience on par with top international club concerts.
The crowd roared as Daoko joined TeddyLoid, with booming synths and bass filling every corner of the venue. With rhythmic beats, Daoko stunned audiences at I Love ANISONG. Their collaboration offered a striking contrast between Daoko’s charismatic vocals and TeddyLoid’s sophisticated electronic production—from dramatic build-ups to heart-pounding drops—creating waves of pure energy without excessive lighting effects. The audience was immersed in a futuristic soundscape, feeling every thump of bass and delicate melodic precision; a true testament to the synergy between two modern anisong masters.
Then came the high-tempo beats of DEMONDICE, shaking AFAID25 as they kicked off their set with an anisong remix blending drum & bass and bass-house elements alongside TeddyLoid. Thick synth layers and glitch effects enriched the sound texture. Together, they delivered seamless transitions from iconic anisong tracks to original remixes, maintaining a constant energy flow that kept the crowd dancing non-stop. DEMONDICE’s skill in balancing fast tempos with controlled breakbeats perfectly complemented TeddyLoid’s signature drops—proving that the collaboration between these two electronic producers could create an epic anisong music experience.
Eir Aoi closed the night with her powerful vocals resonating throughout I Love ANISONG, supported by an electronic backing track. The blend of high-energy segments and heartfelt singing carried the audience away, ending the concert with roaring applause and lasting memories.
