Jakarta, June 7, 2025 – Day 2 of Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2025 (AFAID25) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) was absolutely electrifying! Thousands of fans packed the venue from early morning, eager to experience a full day of fun, fandom, and Japanese pop culture at Southeast Asia’s biggest ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) festival.
Day 2 Highlights: Star-Studded Stages and Pure Nostalgia
The Day Stage came alive with talk shows featuring top-tier Japanese voice actors like Shion Wakayama and Yuuki Kuwahara, who shared behind-the-scenes stories of their latest anime projects. The crowd was also treated to the premiere screening of Tougen Anki and a stunning live performance from Kamitsubaki Studio.
By evening, the stage transformed into a wave of nostalgia during the breathtaking “The Music of Studio Ghibli Original Singers Symphony” concert. Voices from classic Ghibli films like My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Awayechoed through the hall, moving fans to tears.
Games, Cosplay, and Exclusive Merch Galore
The Game On! zone was packed with gamers trying out demo versions of the newest titles, including the exciting launch of the Cookie Run Braverse TCG. Meanwhile, Akiba Town became paradise for collectors, featuring exclusive merch booths from Bocchi the Rock!, MIKU EXPO 10th Anniversary, and more.
International cosplayers wowed the crowd at the Cosplay Extravaganza, with fans lining up for photos, autographs, and fun interactions all day long. The whole venue buzzed with energy and creativity.
