After 12 Years of Waiting, Lee Min Ho Finally Holds a Successful Fan Meeting in Jakarta

After a long 12-year wait, South Korean actor Lee Min Ho finally greeted his Indonesian fans once again through a fan meeting titled “MINHOVERSE.” This special event, promoted by LitXperience, took place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, South Tangerang.

The fan meeting created a night filled with emotion, laughter, and nostalgia for MINOZ—the name for Lee Min Ho’s fans.

This moment marked a historic occasion, as the last time Lee Min Ho held a similar event in Jakarta was back in 2013.

The event started at 7:00 PM local time, with the Boys Over Flowers star greeting fans with a bright smile and surprisingly fluent Indonesian.

“Hello, how are you?” Lee Min Ho said warmly. “Wow, it’s really been a long time. It’s been 12 years since I was last here,” he added.
He expressed his gratitude to the fans who attended and shared how much he had missed MINOZ Indonesia.
“Thank you so much for welcoming me so warmly. Thank you for taking your precious time to be here,” said the 37-year-old actor.

“I missed you,” he added in Bahasa Indonesia.

The fan meeting opened with Lee Min Ho performing “The Days,” one of his signature singles from 2015.
He also performed several other popular songs such as “Without You” (2013), “Stalker” (2014), and the touching closing song “Always.”
All songs were performed live with a band, and his interaction with fans throughout the show was heartwarming and full of joy.

Not only did he greet fans in Indonesian, he also held a Q&A session, shared stories, and playfully joked with MINOZ Indonesia.

Many unforgettable moments took place on stage during the 2025 LEE MIN HO ASIA FANMEETING TOUR IN JAKARTA [MINHOVERSE].
Thousands of MINOZ packed the venue at ICE BSD on Saturday (April 19, 2025). Staying true to the tradition of Korean fan meetings, Lee Min Ho even invited fans on stage to interact with him directly.

These moments became the ultimate gift for lucky fans, some of whom flew in from as far as Sulawesi and West Papua!
There were also local fans from Jakarta and others who made long journeys by land, such as from Sukabumi.
The fans who were invited on stage were chosen through a random draw—talk about using up a whole year’s worth of luck in one night!

One fun segment involved games set in a space-travel-themed concept. A series of games were prepared and randomly selected by Lee Min Ho.
The first was a Korean drama OST guessing game, and the second was a good old game of rock-paper-scissors (or “kerrrrtas,” as Lee Min Ho playfully pronounced it in Indonesian).

In the first game, three lucky fans were invited up on stage. All of them were so starstruck they could barely speak, trembling as they stood just a meter away from their idol.
Especially when Lee Min Ho approached them and offered a fist bump—one fan’s knees gave out, and they ended up sitting on MC Indra Herlambang’s chair!

Even sweeter, Lee Min Ho asked each fan their name and made an effort to remember them throughout the game.
Every time a fan guessed wrong, he would call them by name and give them a second chance.

Even though it was a competition, everyone ended up as winners. Why? Because not only did they receive special MINHOVERSE gifts from Lee Min Ho, they also got warm hugs from him.

Oh, and during the OST guessing game, “Paradise” from Boys Over Flowers played.
The whole venue sang along, and Lee Min Ho beamed with joy. He turned to the fans and realized something.

“Hey, there are four of us! We’re F4!” he said, walking toward the fans and posing for the camera.

During the rock-paper-scissors game, two MINOZ fans came on stage to compete against Lee Min Ho.
Winning once earned them a handshake, twice a pat on the head, and winning three times got them a hug.
But even those who didn’t win at all seemed perfectly content just standing behind the 37-year-old actor.

Lee Min Ho clearly knew how much MINOZ cherish his warmth.
Even if a fan only won twice, they still received a hug, and of course, the promised head pat. It was too adorable for words!

As for MINHOVERSE itself, the name is a combination of “Minho” and “universe,” symbolizing the world of Lee Min Ho that he now shares with his fans.

The promoter also explained the meaning behind the fan meeting theme.
“MINHOVERSE invites fans into Minho’s universe, filled with exclusive activities that are unique to each country,” said Sheila Adelia, project manager of LitXperience.

LitXperience expressed hope that the fan meeting helped fans reconnect with Lee Min Ho after all these years.
“This event is a way to bridge fans and an idol who feels so far away in Korea. For 12 years they’ve been waiting, and tonight, they got to fulfill that longing,” said Indra Gunawan, founder of LitXperience.

“We’re so happy with the response from MINOZ, even international fans came. We hope to continue creating satisfying experiences for fans,” he added.
