Soloist and member of idol group 2PM Nichkhun returned to greet Hottest in Jakarta after nine years at the “NICHKHUN FANMEETING IN JAKARTA ‘NO.624′” event on Saturday night.
The fan meeting, which was promoted by iMe Indonesia, opened with the song
“Stay in” by Nichkhun.
Hottest who were present last night cheered happily, welcoming Nichkhun on stage. With a warm smile, Nichkhun sang “Stay in” while waving to Hottest in various corners of the audience seats.
Nichkhun looked charming in a heart-patterned denim jacket and black trousers. To complete his look, Nichkhun wore black leather shoes with a hairstyle that exposed his forehead.
After singing “Stay In”, Nichkhun greeted the Hottest in Jakarta with excitement.
“Hello Indonesia, I’m Nichkhun! How are you?” Nichkhun greeted.
Hottest cheered in unison and replied, “Good!”
Nichkhun said, “I actually don’t really remember (when I was last here), but Hottest told me that I last came here in 2015.”.
In fact, Nichkhun remembers the moment when he sang the song “Satu-satu Aku Sayang Ibu” during his last visit to Indonesia in 2015. He also relived the moment by singing “Satu-satu Aku Sayang Ibu” with the Hottest who came.
“Satu-satu, aku sayang ibu,” Nichkhun’s soft voice united with the boisterous voices of the Hottest who came.
After that, the show continued with a conversation with Hottest on the topic of Nichkhun’s TMI (Too Much Information), ranging from Nichkhun’s recent medical check-up to his music projects.
“I had a check-up a while ago, and the results were very good, above average,” said the 35-year-old.
After a brief chat with Hottest in Jakarta, Nichkhun continued the event with a number of interesting performances, including singing a number of his and 2PM’s solo songs and sharing prizes for lucky fans.
During the fan meeting, Nichkhun also surprised Hottest (as 2PM fans are called) by singing an Indonesian song.
Nichkhun sang the song Pertama Pandangan from RAN. Not once did he sing it twice because it was requested by fans.
Nichkhun also showed off his Indonesian language skills by singing an Indonesian children’s song.
Despite his difficulties, Hottest helped him to sing the song first.
“One one I love mom, two two also love dad, three three love sister brother, one two three love everyone,” Nichkhun said.
The event lasted lively for 2 hours. Besides talking in the fan meeting, there were many segments ranging from college games to segments playing games with fans that made other fans jealous and closed with hi-bye session, which made this moment even more meaningful.
