Among the six lineups of Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024, there were a few that caught attention, namely BOY STORY and Xikers.
As the youngest groups, Xikers and BOY STORY didn’t have many fans in Indonesia prior to the event. However, their presence at Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024 proved to attract many new fans for both groups.
Xikers, under the management of KQ Entertainment, the agency that also houses ATEEZ, consists of 10 members: Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Hunter, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, and Yechan. At Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024, they performed many of their hit songs, such as We Don’t Stop, Tricky House, Rockstar, Homeboy, Run, and Red Sun.
Xikers were thrilled to meet their fans in Indonesia, even introducing themselves one by one in Indonesian.
Not to be outdone, BOY STORY, a boy band from China under JYP Entertainment and Tencent Music Entertainment Group, also gained the spotlight from several non-fans. Hanyu, Zihao, Xinlong, Zeyu, Ming Rui, and Shuyang even showcased their talents by singing Indonesian songs like Dekat di Hati by RAN and dancing to viral TikTok songs in Indonesia.
By performing at Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024, Xikers and BOY STORY received a lot of attention and interest from non-fans, especially among MYDAYs (DAY6’s fans) and EXO-Ls (EXO’s fans). Many fans immediately sought to find out the names of xikers and BOY STORY members who had caught their eye.
Meanwhile, Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024 was promoted by MECIMAPRO.
