The South Korean actor held a fansign event titled Ji Chang Wook Fansign Event in Korea 360 on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the Main Atrium Lotte Mall Jakarta.
This is the third time he has come to Indonesia, after the Reach You In Jakarta fanmeeting at Kasablanka Hall Jakarta on December 3, 2022.
As the title suggests, the Ji Chang Wook Fansign Event in Korea 360 is the actor’s fansign event, organized by Korea 360 and Korea Creative Content Agency (Kocca) Indonesia.
Korea 360 is a zone provided by the Korean government as a center for the introduction of Korean culture ranging from K-Pop, culinary arts, the tourism industry, cosmetics, and typical Gingseng Country art products that are packaged in one area.
Interestingly, this event was held for free by Korea 360. No doubt, the event was greeted enthusiastically by Ji Chang Wook fans in Indonesia. To get this fansign access ticket, fans only need to do the challenge made by Korea 360 on their social media, and then later it will be drawn to determine the winner.
Starting at around 2:00 pm, Chang Wook greeted the fans who had been waiting for him for a long time. Wearing a white shirt combined with black pants, Chang Wook looked dashing and charming. He kept smiling as he came face to face with fans.
The fans surrounded the fence that separated the venue. Hysterical and excited shouts from fans began as soon as the Welcome to Samdal-Ri star took the stage. Cell phones were held high by fans to record this rare moment.
“Hello, I’m Ji Chang Wook. Nice to meet you all,” said Ji Chang Wook. The event continued with games to answer questions drawn by Ji Chang Wook, such as the year of his debut and the name of his Instagram account. Fans who could answer correctly were invited to the stage and could take photos with Ji Chang Wook. No wonder fans who had previously been selected after completing the challenge from KOREA 360 were competing to wave their hands while shouting to be seen by Ji Chang Wook.
The next session is the fansigning session. The 70 lucky fans who selected from the ‘K-Drama Product Hunt’ Challenge get the autograph directly from Ji Chang Wook. Not only women, but some of the fans who came were men. They were able to chat briefly with Ji Chang Wook on stage while waiting for autographs.
There are also fans who have a unique appearance, such as wearing a bridal veil. Ji Chang Wook’s interaction with 70 lucky fans suddenly made all the Audiens scream with envy.
One of the interesting moments was when there was a quiz where the fan who answered correctly could take a selfie with Ji Chang Wook. There were five people who won the quiz. Wow, thousands of envious eyes saw the winner.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Ji Chang Wook has come to Indonesia. In 2022, Ji Chang Wook also had a fanmeeting and managed to gather thousands of his fans at Hall Kasablanka, Jakarta, Indonesia.
