Actor Kim Bum held a fan meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia. The fan meeting titled “Between U and Me” was held at the 11th floor Kempinski Grand Ballroom, West Mall Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall, on Sunday (3/9/2023) at 19.00 WIB. This is Kim Bum’s second visit to Indonesia, and he greeted his fans directly.

Starting his fan meeting, Kim Bum greeted his fans in Indonesian.
“Hi, I’m Kim Bum; how are you? It’s been a long time. Welcome to Between U & Me,” said Kim Bum.
Speaking in Korean again, Kim Bum said that he always sees the messages that fans send him through social media.
“It makes him very happy, and he always wants to meet his fans.”
“I see from social media the letters you send me, so I really want to be here for all of you,” said Kim Bum.

He was given four choices, such as Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Indonesia’s National Museum, and islands in Indonesia. He then chose to explore the islands of Indonesia for a vacation.
“I know Indonesia has many islands. I have never been to other cities. I went to Bali once for vacation. I want to eat good food,” said Kim Bum.

Next, Kim Bum was asked to choose the most delicious Indonesian specialty. There are four food choices: soto, fried rice, satay, and meatballs.
Kim Bum said he had tried all four. He was confused about choosing fried rice or satay. However, Kim Bum finally answered satay. “I was really confused about fried rice or satay. I think satay is one of the most delicious foods I’ve tried in Indonesia.”
“There are so many delicious foods in Indonesia,” said Kim Bum. According to Kim Bum, there is no satay in South Korea that is as good as in Indonesia. As for fried rice, Kim Bum said this food can actually be found in South Korea too.

Towards the end of the show, Kim Bum prepared a surprise for fans. Kim Bum asked fans to join the quiz and guess his old pictures when he starred in some dramas.
The rule was that if fans could answer the quiz, he promised to dance to several K-pop idol songs. Of course, fans won all of the quizzes, so he started to dance. Some of them are Jisoo’s “Flower” from K-pop idol group BLACKPINK, STAYC’s “Poppy”, and LE SSERAFIM’s “Unforgiven”.
Kim Bum looked so flexible, dancing some choreography from the idols. Kim Bum danced while occasionally smiling, and afterward he laughed and then looked down because he was embarrassed.
This successfully made fans hysterical, and they captured the moment with their cell phones. Kim Bum admitted that he did not expect to perform a female idol song. His agency had constantly asked if he didn’t mind doing it.
