Saranghaeyo Indonesia, or SHI 2024, was finally successfully held. This year, the South Korean music festival attracted newcomers and well-known artists. Namely DAY6, Young-K, Xikers, Chen, and Xiumin EXO.
Although there were many K-pop artists with different biases and agencies performing, it did not make the K-popers who attended this event split. They remained in harmony, wearing all-blue clothes that colored this afternoon’s event.

MEET AND GREET SESSION WITH IDOLS
In addition to presenting the exciting performances of the performers, SHI 2024 also provides an opportunity for fans to interact directly with their idols in a meet and greet session. The winners were selected randomly from SHI 2024 ticket purchases until Friday (3/5/2024) yesterday.
There were a total of 50 lucky fans who won the lucky draw to attend the meet and greet with Boy Story. Later, the 50 people will fill the room and see and chat directly with Hanyu, Zihao, Yu Zeyu, Shuyang, Xilong, and Mingrui.
While there are 15 lucky people who get the opportunity to see Chen EXO more closely, The fans will be given time to interact more intensely with the EXO boy group member.
The same amount is also applied to Xiumin EXO’s meet and greet. The 15 lucky fans will share jokes and laughter up close with Xiumin before the singer entertains thousands of other fans on stage.

SHI CONCERT DIVIDED INTO 2 SESSIONS
The 2024 SHI Festival will be divided into two sessions. The first session starts at 16.00 WIB and ends at 18.00 WIB. An hour will be given to the audience members who want to rest or worship. The show continues with the second session, which starts at 19:00 WIB.
XIUMIN SUCCESSFULLY OPENED THE SHI 2024 EVENT
In the event, which was held at exactly 16.00 WIB, EXO member Xiumin opened Saranghaeyo by performing a song called Brand New.
For at least 45 minutes, Xiumin performed five of his songs, ranging from Brand New, Serenity, Love Letter, and You to Feed Back. During his performance, along with the dancers, Xiumin, who wore blue jeans combined with an oversize t-shirt, managed to make EXO-L scream hysterically.
“Hello Indonesia. Waaah. Today I am opening Saranghaeyo Indonesia. How do you like it? Do you like it?” said Xiumin
Furthermore, Xiumin admitted that he was very surprised to see the number of fans who packed the event location.
“Not long ago, there was an Exo fan meeting. This time to Indonesia. Anyone come to the Exo fanmeet? It turns out that there are also many,” he said.
Even though he had previously come to Indonesia to hold an EXO fan meeting. But today’s concert atmosphere is much hotter than before.
FIRST TIME IN INDONESIA XIKERS GETS PRAISE
K-Pop boy group Xikers has successfully reaped high enthusiasm since its first appearance on the Saranghaeyo Indonesia (SHI) 2024 stage. Being one of the line-ups in the first session, Xikers opened their performance very strongly. The song “We don’t stop” which has a fast tempo, was chosen to start his stage action. Upon entering the stage, Xikers’ rapper, Sumin, immediately greeted the audience. “Jakarta! Are you ready?” said Sumin, who was greeted by cheers from the audience.
The KQ Entertainment boy group finished their performance of “We don’t stop” with a rousing finale and artificial fireworks. They then greeted Roady, as Xikers fans are called in Indonesian.
“Hello, we are Xikers,” said the group that debuted on March 30, 2023, simultaneously. They then introduced themselves using Indonesian. Starting with Hunter, Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, and Yujun. “Hello, I’m Yechan from Xikers,” said the Xikers maknae.
In addition to “We Don’t Stop”, xikers also performed a number of hit songs. A total of six songs were performed, including “Tricky House”, “Rockstar”, and “Red Sun”. All the songs were performed with energy and intense choreography. Even so, their vocals remained stable and they were able to amaze the audience with a number of high notes.
CHEN EXO AMAZES TO CLOSE SESSION 1
Chen EXO also enlivened the Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024 stage. Chen sang without musical accompaniment, further demonstrating his undoubted vocal quality. Instead of asking the audience to sing, Chen asked the audience to clap along with his singing.
By performing several songs from his mini album, Chen also performed several OSTs from famous dramas.
Like the OST of the drama Descendant of The Sun, starring Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki. Hundreds of audience members sang along to enliven the event.
Not quite one, Chen also returned to make the audience baper with the song “Best Luck” OST drama It’s Okay, It’s Love starring Jo In Sung and also one of the EXO members, D.O.

Chen’s performance also ended the first session of Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024 and will continue the second session at 19.00 WIB.
THE SECOND SESSION BROKE OUT EVEN MORE, OPENING WITH YOUNG K
Day6 finally returned to Indonesia to greet their fans at the Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024 concert. Not only performing with Day6, Young K also performed as a solo, you know! While talking about wanting to go to Indonesia, Young K also revealed the local food he had tasted. Young K admitted that he had tasted a lot of Indonesian food. Not only fried noodles, but this Day6 member has eaten everything from oxtail soup to fried rice!
“Soto betawi, fried noodles, fried rice, I’ve eaten it,” Young K admitted on the Saranghaeyo Indonesia stage on Saturday (5/4/2024).
In addition to Indonesian food, it turns out that the vocalist is also familiar with our language. Already very local, Young K had time to greet fans using Indonesian. Not just ‘I love you,’ Young K asked for fans’ cheers, you know!

NOT TO BE OUTDONE BY SENIORS BOY BAND BOY STORY ENLIVENS THE EVENT
Boy Story is history in the idol music industry. How not? This group became the youngest boy band to debut with JYP Entertainment.
Consisting of six teenage boys in their teens, Boy Story is under the JYP China, TME, and Tencent agencies. Being the youngest C-Pop group, Boy Story officially debuted on September 21, 2018 with the release of a mini album and MV titled “Enough”.
In SHI 2024, they managed to make the stage hot again. In addition to interacting with fans using Indonesian and Chinese, the boy band that debuted in 2018 managed to perform hits including Alpha, Z.I.P., and Handz Up. Even before the end of their performance, they performed a challenge dance that went viral in Indonesia.
DAY6 JAKARTA IS GETTING HOTTER
Before the performance began, fans compactly sang several songs by this Korean band. Unexpectedly, it turned out that the members heard the audience karaoke to offer the opportunity for MYDAY to sing alone.
“Actually, we heard you singing at the backstage. Do you want to hear us sing?” said Young K. “The sound is beautiful,” he continued after hearing the fans singing along.
