South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE successfully greeted Neverland (as their fans are called) Indonesia on Sunday (9/6/2024). The event titled Rexona Glow For It Fest was held at ICE BSD and presented Minnie, Miyeon, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua.
In the middle of becoming Rexona’s brand ambassador, the singer of “Queencard” successfully enlivened the Rexona Glow For It Fest event held at ICE BSD City.
Not only promoting Rexona, (G)I-DLE also performed their hits, played games, and tried Indonesian food.
Indra Herlambang, the MC of the event, invited the five members to try Indonesian food.

BE BA REXONA
Along with the increasing enthusiasm for K-pop in Indonesia, it also has an impact on the domestic market.
One of the well-known brands in Indonesia, Rexona, collaborates with one of the famous K-Pop idols from South Korea, (G)I-DLE.

The event that was held at ICE BSD City on June 9 had a series of events.
Starting from cardio K-Pop dance, noraebang, to fancon with (G)I-DLE.
This was greeted enthusiastically by Neverland (as (G)I-DLE fans are called), who were looking forward to the appearance of the 5-member money girl group.
OPENED WITH THE QUEENCARD SONG
The event, which was hosted by MC Indra Herlambang, started at 16.00 WIB.
(G)I-DLE also opened the event by singing one of their hits, Queencard.
“I’m very happy because I’m happy to meet Neverland Jakarta too, so I’m very happy to be here,” said Minnie.
“I was nervous too, because I wanted to meet Neverland,” she continued.
MEMBERS PLAY GAMES AND TASTE INDONESIAN FOOD
During the event, the members also played a guessing game. Minnie, who was in the back position, managed to guess the AESP song, Supernova.
Not only games, (G)I-DLE also had the opportunity to taste Indonesian food such as kue ape, bika ambon, satay, egg rolls, and ice cendol.
There were several Indonesian foods served, such as kue ape, cilor, cendol, kue mangkok, and other Indonesian foods.
All GIDLE members tried all the food and showed a happy reaction when trying it.
However, a funny thing happened when all the GIDLE members tried the Indonesian food.
When the MC introduced ‘ape cake’ to GIDLE, one of the members, Yuqi, mistook ‘ape’ for ‘delicious’ in Indonesian.
“Wahh, this is delicious, ape ape,” Yuqi said.
Because of this, every time Yuqi tried Indonesian food on stage, she always said ‘ape’.
At first, no one noticed the mistake until finally the MC explained that ‘ape’ was the name of the food she tried.
“Yuqi, ‘ape’ is this food; if it’s ‘delicious’ it’s not ‘apee'” Indra Herlambang explained, followed by Yuqi’s laughter.
Because of this, Neverland Indonesia also teased Yuqi by saying ‘ape’ when she tried to eat Indonesian food on stage.
GIDLE successfully entertained Neverland Indonesia by performing an amazing stage show and showing their funny antics during the event.
Yuqi is known to be a member who loves to eat. He even admitted that when traveling around the country on tour, he would taste the regional food.
“So I really like to eat. Usually, when I go abroad, I try the food in that country. But if, for example, I don’t like the food there, I will eat Chinese food,” she said.
“I’ve tried satay; wow, it’s really good,” continued the Chinese idol. After having fun tasting Indonesian food, they also seemed to take pictures together with the latest deodorant products prepared by the organizers.
CLOSED WITH THE SONG TOMBOY AND FATE
GIDLE also performed its latest song, “Fate” with the soft voices of the five members of the girl group under Cube Entertainment.
“Tomboy” became the closing song of GIDLE’s performance at the Rexona X GIDLE event.
GIDLE’s performance was able to hypnotize Hall 3 ICE BSD with the extraordinary energy from GIDLE and Neverland.
