South Korean musician B.I presented a special collaboration with LEO, a Korean Hip-Hop (KHH) musician, at the B.I 2024 Tour Hype Up concert at The Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta, on Saturday night. The event held by Viu Scream Dates Id and promoter Three Angles Production was lively, and here todaystageid has summarized the excitement, especially for you.
OPEN THE CONCERT WITH THE MICHELANGELO SONG
Opening the concert titled HYPE UP with the songs “MICHELANGELO”, “Alive”, “One and Only”. B.I greeted ID (B.I’s fan base) in Indonesia for a moment to check their enthusiasm. Just like before, ID Indonesia was still excited and more “smoldering” than before.
Then B.I reminded fans to enjoy the concert comfortably without pushing each other. “Don’t push each other; the back is still spacious,” said B.I.
B. I interview fans who want to be wealthy when they grow up.
After singing, on the sidelines of concert B.I then asked fans if anyone was 19 years old and didn’t stop there, B.I also interviewed a fan who claimed to be 19 years old and expressed his desire to have a lot of money when he grew up.
“This is the most realistic answer throughout my concert,” said B.I while laughing in response to the answer of fans who want to have a lot of money.
Even when finishing the video project from fans, B.I also looked for fans who sang in the video project made by ID Indonesia to ask fans who brought professional cameras not to be detained. That is dear to ID and makes me smile.
B.I “BLUSUKAN” DOWN TO THE STAGE
B.I is known as an idol who often provides good fan service to his fans. He is not even afraid to submit himself to the crowd of fans.
This was also done by B.I at the Hype Up concert in Jakarta. The former iKON member came down to the audience several times, from front to back, to greet his fans up close.
He didn’t even hesitate to climb the footing of the barricade and style his back on the hands of fans. In his message, B.I also invited fans to jump up and down to his singing.
B.I also got off the stage and approached fans, allowing them to film his actions up close while singing “4Letters”.
In fact, B.I even took pictures with his fans when he came down from the stage while singing the song.
B.I’s action off the stage made fans scream hysterically and get closer to the edge of the road divider from the stage.
BRING GUEST STARS
During the concert, B.I sang some of his hits, such as “Illa Illa”, “Loved”, “Numb”, “Tasty”. Not alone, B.I also brought singer Leo to duet with him on the song “Pretty Plzzz”. “I told you guys, there’s a handsome singer coming today,” B.I said before welcoming Leo.
It didn’t take long; the two of them appeared harmonious when singing the song “Pretty Plzzz”. The song is B.I’s collaboration with LEO, which was released in May 2024.
For approximately three minutes, B.I and LEO performed the song “Pretty Plzzz” and greeted ID in all corners of the stage. From the right, left, and front of the stage, all IDs could see B.I and LEO freely.
After singing “Pretty Plzzz”, B.I invited LEO to take over the stage and sing his own solo song.
“So, tonight LEO will perform his own song; please, LEO!” said B.I while taking a moment to leave the stage.
LEO immediately took over the stage and greeted ID again, “Good evening, Jakarta! So, here, I will perform my own songs. I know the Indonesian audience likes me a lot, right?”.
The audience compactly answered, “Yes!”.
In this performance, LEO sang two of his own songs, one of which was “Come Closer”. LEO also enjoyed his performance and deliberately went downstage to greet the audience more closely.
SPECIAL BRING 2 DEMO SONGS
Hanbin’s concert this time was not only special because of Leo’s arrival; he also shared a demo version of his song. “Has anyone watched Kiliing Voice yet? Is there a demo song that I only performed on Killing Voice? Do you know what the song is? What song? Do you know the title?” said B.I.
“Let’s listen to it,” he continued. Hanbin listened to the demo version of the song. He also sang the song.
THE UNDYING ENCORE
Even though the concert had actually ended, B.I didn’t stop reworking the songs with more enjoyment in the encore.
B.I also brought two of the most fun audience members to dance together on stage; the dance was nothing short of amazing. At the end of the show, before the encore, B.I expressed his gratitude to all those who have worked together to organize this Hype Up concert.
“Now we have reached the end of the event. How was everything fun today? Please give a round of applause. Thank you to all the staff who have helped with this event.”
“Starting with all the staff, DJs, Leo too, and all of you too, of course. So starting with the next song, everything is exciting and jumping around. So I will go to exciting places,” he said.
The 2.5-hour concert ended with Hanbin and the dancers performing COSMOS.
For information, B.I’s HYPE UP tour has been held in several countries, and Jakarta is B.I’s fifth stop after Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, and Manila. This is not the first time B.I has come to Indonesia and held a concert. Previously, on March 10, 2023, B.I held the L.O.L The Hidden Stage concert at the Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta.
Then, on August 26 of the same year, B.I returned to Jakarta to fill the Asian Sound Syndicate Volume 2 stage.
