TVXQ CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF MUSIC WITH A CONCERT IN JAKARTA

TVXQ’s “20&2” concert, promoted by mecimapro, was successfully held on Saturday (20/4) at around 15.00 WIB at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City Hall 5, Tangerang.
This was the second time after five years of Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho’s last visit to Indonesia.

After performing Rising Star and Jungle as the concert opener, TVXQ began to perform a number of other hits, starting with “The Chance of Love”, “Devil”, Wrong Number, and Down. The Cassiopeia (as TVXQ fans are called) sang along while holding up pearl red lighsticks.

Like any other K-pop concert, Changmin and Yunho introduced themselves in Indonesian fluently. They also admitted that they missed the fans in Indonesia. “Hello, we are Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ),” said Yunho and Changmin compactly.

“Good afternoon,” Yunho continued.

Yunho greeted the fans again. “We miss you guys. It’s been a long time since we came; we prepared a lot of things. Is everyone ready to have fun together?” Yunho asked.

“Let’s sing together,” Yunho continued using Indonesian again.

As if not to be outdone, Changmin also greeted the audience there. “Where’s the sound?” shouted Changmin, greeting fans in Indonesian.

“It feels so good to meet you guys at this exclusive TVXQ concert,” Changmin continued.

They even mentioned Ied Mubarak, which was just celebrated not long ago. Their questions made the fans even more hysterical.

“We have so many memories of Indonesia. We once came with Super Junior, and we heard that last week you guys had Eid, right? So many people went home to meet their families; how was it? Did you spend a happy time with your family?” Yunho asked.

“Yes, what I’ve heard is that during Lebaran, people apologize and forgive. Right?” replied Changmin
Until now, this handsome singer duo from South Korea has continued to entertain fans. Changmin performed his solo song titled “Devil”.

With his handsome face wearing a purple suit, Changmin further added to the hysterical fans in attendance. Changmin’s solo performance is one of the special offerings for Cassiopeia Indonesia. The reason is that this song has never been performed on a concert tour of Asian countries before.

Yunho took the time to perform his solo song, “Vuja De”. In addition, he also had time to promote his latest drama. Not to forget, TVXQ thanked the fans.

The concert is the momentum of TVXQ’s 20th anniversary celebration in the world music industry.
“It doesn’t feel like it’s TVXQ’s 20th anniversary. It’s great to be able to celebrate together,” Yunho said to his fans, Cassiopeia.
Changmin said TVXQ’s existence for 20 years could not be separated from the role of fans, who have always faithfully supported it.

“We have passed 20 years, which means you too. Congratulations to you (Cassiopeia),” said Changmin.

“We can all survive so far thanks to Cassiopeia. For that, we thank you again. Thank you for always being with us,” said Changmin and Yunho while bowing together.

Meanwhile, the “20&2” concert was also held in several countries in Asia, such as Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, and Macau. TVXQ’s presence was certainly welcomed enthusiastically by Cassiopeia.

In addition to the solo concert in 2019, the two of them returned to the country to enliven the SMTOWN concert at Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta, in 2023. How cool was their performance?
