On Thursday, February 29th, Korean indie rock band Wave To Earth made their highly anticipated Indonesian debut with their “The First Era Concert” at Uptown Park Summarecon Mall Serpong. The concert was presented by promoter Ravel Entertainment.
The three-member band kicked off the show with their hit song “Bad,” followed by “Sunny Days.”
“This is my second time in Indonesia,” said vocalist Daniel, addressing the enthusiastic crowd. He then expressed his gratitude to the fans, switching to English before being playfully prompted by bandmate John to speak Indonesian.
Wave To Earth continued to enthrall the audience with performances of their popular tracks “Seasons” and “So Real.” The latter featured a captivating musical improvisation that left the audience cheering for more.
The concert concluded on a high note with the band’s uplifting song “Light.”
It’s interesting to note that Wave to Earth posted pictures and videos from the Indonesian concert on their official Instagram account, @wave_to_earth, along with the message, “MAKASIH JAKARTA.”
Formed in 2019, Wave To Earth has quickly gained popularity with their heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies. Comprising Daniel Kim, Shin Dong Kyu, and John Cha, the band is poised for even greater success in the years to come.
