On Thursday (August 21, 2025), a warm atmosphere filled a media office in Jakarta as South Korean idol group ARrC greeted the press and fans through a heartwarming press conference. What caught everyone’s attention was the members showing up in batik, a gesture that reflected their appreciation for Indonesian culture.
“Good morning!” each member cheerfully greeted as they entered the hall, their warm smiles instantly setting a friendly tone for the event. During the Q&A session, ARrC members shared many interesting stories — including why they chose to promote their activities in Indonesia again.
When TodayStageID asked about their motivation for promoting in Indonesia, the youngest member, Jibeen, confidently took the mic to respond.“What made me want to promote in Indonesia is the passion of the fans,” said Jibeen.
“From the beginning, I was really curious about ARrCers’ energy. Last year, when we came to Indonesia for the first time, I was really nervous. But the fans’ enthusiasm lit up the atmosphere, and that moment has stayed with me ever since.”
The young idol, whose full name is Lee Ji Been, explained how that unforgettable moment became a major reason for their return.
Following Jibeen, Rioto, the Japanese member who serves as the main dancer and lead vocalist, shared his hopes of building stronger connections with Indonesian fans by learning the language.“Even though we’re not fluent in Indonesian yet, we’re working on it. Personally, I want to be able to communicate more actively and clearly with our fans here,” said Rioto.
He then continued by expressing his excitement about future performances.“I want to show cool things through our upcoming songs and stages. So please keep supporting us!”
