Jakarta, November 29, 2025 – Indonesia’s global hip-hop sensation Rich Brian electrified Jakarta as the opening city of his international “Where Is My Head?” world tour. The concert took place at Beach City International Stadium (BCIS), Ancol, on Friday night, drawing thousands of enthusiastic fans.

Rich Brian Takes the Stage
At 7:40 PM, after opening acts Weird Genius and Tangerang-based hip-hop collective PORIS fired up the crowd, Rich Brian finally took the stage. He opened with “Senja,” the lead track from his latest album WHERE IS MY HEAD? (2025), immediately setting the tone for a night of lyrical skill and high energy.
Fans went wild as he transitioned into “Tokyo Drift Freestyle,” rapping over the iconic beat from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, followed by “Who That Be” (2016), a track that helped cement his global hip-hop presence after the viral hit “Dat $tick.”“How’s everyone tonight? I’m Rich Brian from Jakarta, Indonesia. I just wanna have fun with you all tonight. Are you ready?” he greeted the roaring crowd.
For the next 90 minutes, Rich Brian delivered a mix of new tracks, fan favorites, rap segments, and sing-along moments, inviting fans to join him in the performance.
Weird Genius Ignites the Crowd

Before Rich Brian’s set, EDM trio Weird Genius—Reza Arap, Eka Gustiwana, and Roy Leonard—opened the night with high-energy performances. They kicked off with “Cash Out” by MarcelFit, followed by “My Hump Love (Mixtape Break).”
Reza Arap engaged directly with the crowd, encouraging fans to raise their hands, clap, and move to the beat. They also performed their remix of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” and delivered their global hit “Lathi,” keeping the audience on their feet.
The opening act ended on a high note with “Desire,” leaving the crowd hyped and ready for Rich Brian’s performance.
Tour Continues Across Asia and North America
Jakarta marked the first stop of Rich Brian’s world tour. Following Indonesia, he will headline concerts in Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Manila in early December 2025.
After the Asian leg, he will bring his Where Is My Head? tour to North America, performing in Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Toronto in February 2026.
From the electrifying EDM opener by Weird Genius to Rich Brian’s heartfelt return to his hometown, the night at BCIS Ancol was a celebration of music, global hip-hop, and fan love. Jakarta proved once again that it can host world-class concerts with energy, emotion, and unforgettable memories.
