BLACKPINK First Night in Jakarta Was Totally “Lit” — Rosé Ate Fried Rice On Stage!

Global K-pop sensation BLACKPINK made a dazzling return to Indonesia with their latest world tour, “DEADLINE.” Held over two nights at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) in Jakarta and promoted by @ime_indonesia, the concert was nothing short of historic — proving once again that Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé’s energy remains unstoppable.

Rain Couldn’t Dampen the Excitement

Just before the concert began, heavy rain poured over GBK. Some fans in the Pink and Platinum sections took shelter, patiently waiting for the weather to calm down. Soon after, the rain eased, as if the skies themselves were preparing to welcome the world’s biggest girl group.

Originally scheduled to start at 6:30 PM local time, the show was slightly delayed — but the wait was absolutely worth it. The moment the stadium lights dimmed and the massive screen flashed the word “DEADLINE,” screams erupted across the crowd of thousands of Blinks.

At 7:18 PM, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo finally appeared on stage — and right at that very moment, the rain completely stopped. It felt almost magical, as though the sky itself was cheering them on.

A Stage Bursting with Energy

The chilly night instantly transformed into a sea of glowing pink lights as the girls launched into their explosive opener, “Kill This Love.” The energy soared even higher with “Pink Venom,” sending the crowd into a frenzy of singing, dancing, and lightstick waves.

In between songs, the members took turns greeting fans — in Bahasa Indonesia!“Selamat datang di BLACKPINK DEADLINE World Tour 2025 di Jakarta! I’m so happy to be back here. How are you, everyone? I’m Rosé!” she said, her greeting met with thunderous cheers.

Then came a sweet and funny moment from Jisoo:“Kalian terbaik!” (“You’re the best!”) she said proudly, prompting laughter from her bandmates and the audience alike.

The group powered through a setlist of fan-favorite hits like “How You Like That,” “Playing With Fire,” and “Shut Down.” The crowd’s enthusiasm filled every corner of the stadium, making the night feel electric.“We really missed you all so much! We have so many great memories here. Thank you for welcoming us back. I just want to say one very important thing — I love you!” Rosé told the crowd, her voice full of warmth.

Stunning Solo Performances

The solo stage segment kicked off with Jisoo, who captivated the audience with her graceful rendition of “Hugs and Kisses and Earthquake.”
Then came Lisa, setting the stage on fire with “Thunder,” “When I’m With You,” and “Rockstar.”

Jennie wowed the audience with “Like Jennie,” “Extral,” and “Starlight,” before Rosé closed the solo performances with her signature charm and powerhouse vocals. Her setlist featured “Number One Girl,” “Toxic Till The End,” and “APT. (ft. Bruno Mars)” — sending the stadium into a euphoric sing-along.

For the Jakarta show, Rosé made a special change — swapping her usual opener “3am” with “Number One Girl.” The crowd went wild, with fans online later saying the Jakarta audience “deserved” it for being so loud and passionate.

During “Toxic Till The End,” Rosé paused mid-song and let the audience sing the lyrics together in perfect unison — a heartwarming moment that gave everyone chills.
Later, during “APT. (ft. Bruno Mars),” she invited a lucky fan wearing a “Number One Girl” T-shirt onto the stage. The two sang and danced together under the spotlight, creating a memory the fan — and everyone watching — will never forget.

Rosé’s Iconic Fried Rice Moment 🍚

One of the most anticipated moments at every BLACKPINK concert is Rosé’s adorable tradition — mukbang with local food before her solo stage.

For Jakarta’s first show on Saturday (Nov 1, 2025), fans had been buzzing with the question: “What’s Rosé eating tonight?”
The answer: nasi goreng, Indonesia’s beloved fried rice!

Fans screamed in delight as Rosé enjoyed a plate of fried rice on stage. Many were touched to see their idol savoring something so familiar — a dish they eat every day.

This food tradition has followed Rosé throughout the tour. In France, she munched on croissants; in Thailand, pad thai; and in Indonesia, she honored local flavors with fried rice.

A Night to Remember

For over two hours, BLACKPINK thrilled fans with a 20+ song setlist — from early hits like “Boombayah,” “Whistle,” “As If It’s Your Last,” and “Lovesick Girls,” to their latest high-energy track, “Jump.”

Just when everyone thought the concert was over, the girls returned for an encore — performing “Jump” once more and closing the night with “Kick It.” The energy was off the charts, and GBK literally shook from the crowd’s cheers and dancing. The chemistry, passion, and connection between BLACKPINK and their fans created one perfect word to sum up the night: EPIC.
