“Blusukan” Act for Opening The 1/9 Tour by eaJ in Jakarta

The eaJ concert kicked off with a surprise that instantly sent the entire venue into hype chaos. Without any hesitation, he stepped off the stage and walked through the audience during the first three songs, creating a close and personal atmosphere right from the start. This unexpected move had the Jars screaming, completely shocked that he opened the show with such up-close interaction.

During “Friendly Fire,” that sense of closeness grew even stronger as eaJ made his way toward the seated section on the right side of the stage. He greeted fans from just a few steps away, and some were visibly overwhelmed by the chance to interact with him directly. The energy shot up even higher as the Jars followed every move and every note he sang.

After finishing the song, eaJ continued his little “blusukan tour” while performing “Merry Go Round.” This time, he stayed a bit longer in the right-side section, inviting the fans there to sing along with him. It became a golden moment for those in that area, giving them a clear view of his expressions and creating memories they’ll probably never forget.

The intimacy didn’t stop there. When he moved on to “Enemy,” eaJ slowly made his way down to the floor area—the closest standing section to the stage. The crowd erupted as he approached them one by one, offering waves, smiles, and even brief eye contact that made the fans feel genuinely seen and appreciated.

These direct interactions throughout the opening songs showed just how much eaJ wanted to make the concert feel warm, personal, and meaningful. Many fans didn’t expect him to step off the stage so early in the show, which made the whole moment even more special.

Beyond creating epic moments, the way eaJ opened the concert also built a strong emotional connection with the audience right from the start. His presence among the crowd made the venue feel more like a shared space rather than a traditional stage-and-audience setup. It turned the atmosphere softer, more intimate, and made the Jars feel like they were part of the performance—not just spectators.

His decision to go straight into the crowd during the first three songs highlighted not only his performance quality but also the emotional bond he continues to strengthen with his Indonesian fans, who always welcome him with overwhelming enthusiasm.
