Jakarta, 2025 — Talented young actor from China, Chen Zheyuan, was deeply moved by the warm reception he received from fans in Indonesia. This heartfelt moment took place during his first-ever fan meeting event held at Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK2), Jakarta, on Monday (June 30).
From the moment he arrived at the airport, Chen was touched by the extraordinary welcome.
“I was still a bit sleepy after getting off the plane this morning, but when I saw friends holding fresh flowers and wearing special outfits, I really felt very touched,” Chen warmly shared.
The star of the popular drama “Hidden Love” expressed his joy at meeting his Indonesian fans face-to-face. He hopes there will be more opportunities in the future to meet and share happiness with his fans.
“I will do my best to come here again and of course, continue to deliver my best acting work for everyone,” Chen added enthusiastically.
Chasing the Dream of Becoming a Proud Actor
Chen also revealed one of his biggest dreams: to be an actor who makes his country proud and warms the hearts of many through his art.
“After meeting friends from around the world, I feel my dream is starting to come true. I’m getting closer to my global fans and can introduce Chinese films and cinema that I star in,” he said proudly.
Balancing Life Amid a Busy Schedule
Beyond his career, Chen shared how he maintains balance in life despite a hectic schedule. According to him, when working he is very focused and serious, but when on break, he enjoys relaxing and unwinding.
“When I’m working, I’m very serious. But when I’m off, I really relax and let go of stress,” Chen explained.
To refresh himself, Chen usually spends his free time sleeping to recharge his body and mind. He also enjoys exercising, although he has reduced the intensity after injuring his hand.
“I like working out during my breaks, but I cut back on fitness because of a hand injury. That injury caused me to lose some muscle since I couldn’t train for a while,” he honestly shared.
Besides exercising, Chen enjoys fishing as a way to relax and unwind.
“When fishing, I don’t think about anything else. I just focus on it, which makes me really relaxed,” he said with a smile.
With warmth and humility, Chen Zheyuan left a deep impression on his Indonesian fans. His visit to Indonesia was not only a special moment but also strengthened the cultural bond and appreciation between fans and Asian drama stars.
