South Korean band DAY6 successfully concluded their DAY6 3rd World Tour with a grand finale in Jakarta. The closing concert took place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Madya Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), and was promoted by Mecimapro.
This show was an add show added due to overwhelming demand from fans. During the heartwarming and energetic concert, My Day (the name for DAY6’s fans) surprised Wonpil with a birthday serenade. The surprise started when Young K, one of the members, heard fans singing and led the entire stadium to join in.“Happy birthday Wonpil, happy birthday Wonpil, happy birthday happy birthday, happy birthday Wonpil,” the crowd sang together.
Wonpil, visibly touched and smiling, expressed his gratitude to the fans.“Thank you. Thank you so much, even though it’s a bit late. Thank you for singing and wishing me a happy birthday,” he said warmly.
On stage, the members of DAY6 also shared their deep appreciation and emotions toward their loyal fans who had supported them throughout the tour.“We’re incredibly happy to wrap up the Forever Young tour overseas, especially here in Jakarta,” said Wonpil. “Who would have thought we’d be here on such a big stage.”
Young K, also a vocalist and bassist, echoed his feelings. “Thank you so much for today. Because of My Day, we’re able to be here,” he said emotionally.
Throughout the three-hour concert, DAY6 performed many of their hit songs, including Best Part, Better Better, Healer, You Were Beautiful, Congratulations, Happier, and Zombie. Their energetic and emotional stage presence made the concert unforgettable for fans.
One of the most memorable moments was when all four members — Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon — stepped off the stage to get closer to the audience, creating an intimate and heartfelt atmosphere.
To close the night, DAY6 performed Welcome to the Show with a spectacular fireworks display from behind the stage, making for a grand and joyous end to their world tour.
