eaJ Jakarta Concert: Blusukan Moments, Water Giveaway, and an Emotional Finale

Basket Hall GBK was absolutely electric! Cheers, chants, and an explosive wave of energy filled the venue on Friday (Nov 21, 2025). “The 1/9 Tour” wasn’t just a concert—it was an emotional, personal experience from the very first minute. As soon as he stepped onto the stage, eaJ captivated the crowd with an energetic performance that instantly pulled everyone into his world.

But what made the night truly unforgettable wasn’t just the powerful vocals or flawless live set. It was the sweet, chaotic, heartwarming moments that only happen at an eaJ concert—and here are the highlights.

Climbing Into the Stands & Surprise Hugs

The concert kicked off at 8:15 PM with “Right Where You Left Me.” By the third song, “Ruin My Life,” eaJ shocked everyone by stepping off the stage and climbing the stairs up to the stands!

Fans completely lost it—especially when one lucky concertgoer got an unexpected hug. Even while walking and singing, his vocals stayed steady. He made sure to greet both sides of the seating area just to be fair.

Of course, his spontaneous adventure left the security team scrambling, prompting eaJ to jokingly apologize:“This show is crazy. I want to apologize to security because they’re working overtime. I never told them I was gonna do this.”

The crowd erupted in laughter.

The Water Giveaway Tradition—But Not Everyone Got One

Another fan-favorite moment returned this year: eaJ giving out water bottles.
But with a much bigger venue and more fans, the tradition wasn’t as simple this time.“Last year I could give you all water because there were fewer of you. But today? We’ve got 3,000 people!”

He joked, sending waves of laughter across the hall.

Still, he tried. His crew even jumped in, handing out bottles to the eager hands reaching from the crowd. A small, simple gesture—but one that made the night feel warm and intimate.

A Surprise Birthday Song

One of the cutest moments happened when eaJ noticed a sign saying it was the fan’s birthday. Without hesitation, he started singing:“Happy birthday to you~”

The big screen zoomed in on the surprised fan, eyes glistening, while the entire venue joined in singing. A simple moment, yet so heartfelt—classic eaJ.

Raising the Palestinian Flag & Calling for Donations

Amid the concert’s excitement, a fan handed eaJ a Palestinian flag. With no hesitation, he lifted it high and shouted:“Free Free Palestine!”

He brought the flag around the stands while performing “In My Civic,” wore it around his shoulders, wrapped it around his microphone, and even tied it to his pants. His support was unwavering and genuine.

He also introduced the “From Friends” donation campaign with Rockologist, promising 100% of proceeds would go directly to Palestine.

Showing the watermelon pin and Palestinian bracelet he wore, he said:“They’re going through a harsh winter and really need our help.”

The venue roared with support.

The Fan Project That Made Everyone Cry

Near the end of the concert, a fan project played on the big screen—a montage of eaJ’s career journey. Though he smiled, his eyes glistened. A bandmate gently patted his shoulder.

Then, unexpectedly, eaJ slowly lowered himself to the floor and bowed deeply to the thousands of fans in the venue.

The room fell silent before emotion overwhelmed everyone as fans began singing “You’ll Be in My Heart.”

When he stood back up, he spoke with a trembling voice:“After leaving my last project, I thought everything was over. I thought I’d never be able to stand here with you like this again.”

Fans immediately shouted back, “Noooo!” in loving protest.

eaJ continued:“To the new ones, the newer ones, and those who’ve been here a long time… you’re all the same to me. You’ve all saved my life. Maybe we’re saving each other.”

Tears flowed everywhere.

A Night to Remember

“The 1/9 Tour” in Jakarta wasn’t just a musical performance—it was a night filled with closeness, laughter, advocacy, gratitude, and overwhelming emotion. From climbing into the stands, handing out water, supporting Palestine, to bowing in heartfelt gratitude, eaJ showed that a concert can be more than a show.

He made everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated.

One night, countless stories.
And once again, Jakarta made an artist cry happy tears.
